Picture this:


3 bedroom house

1 room dedicated to Veg, other two to flowering. Rotates every month.

This allows a yield per room/per month.

According to the current schematics, swim will be using 12 1000k hps' with 8 of them running in 12hr cycles and 4 of them in 18hr cycles


What do you guys think about that much power consumption in relation to detectability?

that sounds about a 80% chance of getting caught to me. it all falls down to a few points. no living in house with extremly high pg&e bill atleast $1200 per month , thats point 1 pg&e. the stench point to getting caught. and point 3, neighbors will complain. but if you can pull it off that sounds great! you will most likly have pounds and pounds out of each flower room if it at all falls together.

Well if the cops fly over head and are using heat scanners, YOUS FUCKED (chances of this happening SLIM) But if it does i shall see you on TV OR YOUTUBE. BUT wow you would be growing what about 8 pounds if not more. I mean WOW. one hell of an operation. Electric bill would be pretty high, but depends if you live in cold state/country all year. Then the venting you will need, and also THE SMELL you would have to take care of that. IT is surely risky, but the reward is HEAVEN. I am really interested in how you are growing this, HYDRO (dwc, aeroponics, nft, or fill/drain) or SOIL

SWIM will be living in the living room, SWIM has saved up 20k so he/she can buy everything 100% and have rent paid in such a place. SWIM has a well paying corporate gig and wear a suit/tie and will be very friendly with neighbors. SWiM knows how to funnel heat into the floorboards after being taken through a carbon filter and/or sending it to the attic. It is extremely risky yes she/he knows but SWIM has everything calculated except for this risk factor which will probably be mitigated by not using any appliances @ location.

Similar ops have been completed before so I dont know how slim of chances they will have for success. Venting shouldnt be a huge problem either. DWC is the method of choice but will do the first round in soil to choose the proper mother plant and just have things go smoothly to avoid any headaches.

LOL i hope it works, cant wait to see your JOURNEY (hint hint) Also i would look into NFT/aeroponics, Great method and great results, u can run 16 plants off 12 gal, so less nuts and water. Just something to look into. Because it is a very effective method.

I agree, I believe that aeroponics is superior; however, I am going to take it slow and do what I have known to work. As I become more stabilized in this plan I will start upgrading my growing methods. I will be posting pictures and I look forward to providing some great content!

Just a suggestion- 12 kW will pique the interest of any electric company, regardless of any racial acronyms. The general guideline is 1000 W per bedroom, and unless you are moving in a mansion, it will be impossible to run that much power without a visit from someone. If you are really looking to do this, you will need to look into generators. It will cost you about 3 times as much to generate your own power, but with the amount you are looking to produce I am sure you won't notice that much of a dent in cost vs. production. Look at it as freedom insurance.

But aren't the Generators loud and annoying to any neighbors?

Not all and you can have them in your garage and have the exhaust leading outside, or dont know what kind of money u have laying around. You can always look into solar panels, since alot of states/country give you alot of money back so not to much out of your backpocket and then you can use that and electric company and wont be noticeable.

I would agree with youngjess on that one.. you better be the F**kin man if you plan on pullin that shit off.......and just the fact that you are askin us this question on here tells me that you are NOT the F**ckin man when it comes to pullin somthin like that off......but dont let me or us stop you we are all just jealous that we dont have the balls(commen sense) to try it ourselves haha.......good look and be safe bro..

Honda makes a line of generators that are very quiet, just make sure you hook up a muffler and vent the exhaust out of the house, preferrably through a disguised dryer vent. Of course, power is just one of several issues you will run across when putting together a large grow like this. Try to keep it as simple as possible to avoid points for failure, just be prepared to invest in carbon scrubbers (out the ass), sound insulation (if you don't have a basement available), and ducting. You will find it easier to run off a generator compared to explaining to someone why your house is using three times the power as the last occupant.

EDIT- Just looked at your first post again, and you mentioned rent. If you are planning on renting, you are greatly reducing your chances of pulling this off. Landlords can stop by, and even with a 24 hour notice, I don't think the house could be cleaned out in time. You need to look into purchasing the home, i.e. getting a mortgage, and not having to worry about anyone doing a surprise visit. Renting with the volume you are looking at is begging for trouble.

The only real safe way to grow that much product @ one time, is outside on a piece of secluded property that Is NOT owned by you, & is remote enough to deture visitors. Yet accessible enough to get to, with no one within a couple miles. As far as inside? That much product? I highly doubt that could happen. But hey, what the fuck do I know, I've never done it...

you are not in the weed TV show. It wont work except if the house is fuckin remote like alone in a 1km radius with no trails or anything nearby and you use generators. Im also wondering how could you sell that much weed anyway
