Hi all, I'm gonna try and regularly post about my grow.
I'm still a newbie so this might go south at any moment we'll see!

Right now I'm at day 4, not much to see but there you go!
seedling.jpg
The plan is to top twice, veg them out pretty big, take a few cuttings to hunt the best pheno and fill nicely a scrog net before flowering.
I've had a few successful auto grows, but It's my first time growing a photoperiod so I'll finally get to try my hand at topping; lollipopping and others higher stress training technique.
See you soon for an update!

What kind of light or you going to use and what or you growing in
Sorry to come back at you after such a long time I've been incredibly busy!
So I'm growing in soil with perlite, I use the flora trio nutes and I'm growing with leds.
44w cool light for my seedling box and 189w warm light for my flowering box.
I know some people say those can't grow but I've been using them for 2 years and they to the job!

I may have been too busy to post, but not to take pictures so even if it kinda defeat the purpose, I'm still going to rapid fire my posts so the content is there and my diary is as complete as possible.

day 10 from sprouting:

Looking real good so far, both plants are developing at the same rate and are nice and green.
only ph corrected water and light

Day 16

A lot of new growth, the cotyledons are starting to go a more yellow shade of green so I think I should have fed them yesterday instead of giving them plain water...
Anyways, I think it's going to fade real slow so it's most probably not going to end up being a real problem.
Appart than that, for 40watts, I'm pleasantly surprised with the internodal lenght.
Nice and compact!

The roots are starting to poke through (I see like 2 or 3) so I'll transplant when I get back home at day 19 and top once they push past the transplant shock if there's any.

Anybody got an idea why they look droopy?
I was careful to leave them 2 to 3 days to dry in between waterings.
might it be the light that's getting too weak for them?
It's the first time I'm using this low powered seedling box to start plants so I have no idea!
I'm still pretty sure they'll love the jump to 189Watts when it will happen!

They look pretty good other than the slight droop. Looks like a nice small affordable set up too, what are the dimensions? Look forward to seeing how they turn out.

Thanks!!
I really enjoy using my new setup.

it's an old nightstand I think. I lined the inside with mylar diamond. I'll give the dimensions in two days when I get home.
I think you'll like my flowering grow box as well if not more!

they're both not very big, it's a a slightly fatter than usual stealth micro grow after all.
But I'm hoping my scrog net will help with the yield!
see y'all in a few days for an update :)

Day 19
I just transplanted them this morning into their finishing pot.
It's the first time I try my hand at this, but it went better than expected.
I placed my hand palm against medium, flipped the pot and massaged it out.

The scariest part was dropping them in the hole as I couldn't figure out a way to gently lower them in.
still they fitted like gloves into their new pots!

If there's one thing I could change, it would be transplanting earlier as I found my plants were in fact starting to get rootbound.
This might explain the droop and the yellowing.
But it's fixed now so I'm sure it'll recover in no time!

As you can see I started using my bigger grow box with the flowering lights so this should speed up the growtht quite a bit.
Can't wait to see how they are going to turn out!

Day 23
The droop was definitely the plant getting rootbound. A few days after the transplant it perked up and the yellowing stopped right away.
Lesson learned, I won't be affraid to transplant a bit earlier next time.

But today was also the perfect time to top them both!
It's my first photoperiod so it's the first time I ever did this... And it felt so wrong!

Everything seems good so far, can't wait to start training it with the scrog net and grow a huge plant! (well bigger than usual at least)

Day 25
The ladies are getting so nice and lush in their new home!
I'm starting to think one of my biggest problem was my soil because that new mix I purchased is just so light and fluffy and the plant seem to really love it!
71658916_2422224664732710_7170368289158201344_n.jpg 71658916_2422224664732710_7170368289158201344_n.jpg
I don't think the topping bothered them at all because even yesterday it definetly kept growing. Only two days later it it's noticably wider!

also the new main shoots are growing out just fine.

I'm really excited about this strain! looking good!

Day 29!
One month in already, time is going so fast!
They're pretty much done recovering the topping and the growth is incredibly fast!
I could just see every node explode in branches!
71343284_494910184692404_8284273327300673536_n.jpg
The two plants are similar but there's deffinetly a shorter one with fatter leaves and stock and a longer lankier one with smaller leaves but the difference is slight.

I'm stoked!
Those are easily the prettiest plant I've had the chance to grow!
and we aren't even in flower yet :bigjoint:

Day 32
I came back home to some strange leaf symptom. I'm guessing ph problems as it looks similar and my pen is pretty bad...
Older growth is burning between the leaf veins and newer growth looks deformed.
If anybody knows what's up, I'll appreciate the help a lot!
These are the rust spots
71887206_769672176814516_6665224317753622528_n.jpg
this is the new growth, kinda looks like a ganja lettuce cross
Maybe it's just the first leaf set that was forced to grow way faster than it should because of the topping?
72249798_3130413227031339_4148626103684038656_n.jpg72262137_420582635263453_704973101581991936_n.jpg
This is what leaves look just one node under

Day 33
So today I did a little defoliation to slow down the two main shoots a bit more and allow the rest of the branches to catch up.
Topping barely slowed them down and the lower shoots are still behind, but I this this will do it!

I'm still in veg so I was pretty conservative. I clipped 4 leaves per plant
72331061_765283590592971_4598153319507034112_n.jpg71860888_2416230858430795_3233886236724690944_n.jpg
Really helped put the lower growth in the light
71592245_449626305675031_8332717474613035008_n.jpg71831925_2324605437851280_8956661976591761408_n.jpg
Even though the leaves turned from drop dead gorgeous to ugly lately, I'm still very impressed by this strain!
The stalk got so fat so quick, I've never seen this with the autos I grew.

Still day 33 but I did a lot of things today and I want to keep it nice and structured!

So I just built a frame for my scrog net and I'm really satisfied!
I made it especially for my space, so it fits perfectly and holds well.
72325887_677628866063744_6232659113193504768_n.jpg72343824_516474108899578_4576243926825959424_n.jpg
This will surely make the training easier!

Floweringflip just got a bit closer!

Day 36
Things are moving quicker and quicker
I'm having way too much fun tucking and training under my new scrog net.
I will probably remake it with a bit wider squares for next time as I found it was a bit difficult to pass huge fan leaves through the tiny squares when they reach for the light.
72387061_965920887085545_7018404198672760832_n.jpg71932347_1580598695414966_5212615109221810176_n.jpg
The two plants are very similar but the left pheno is stretchier so it works better for training.
73149002_570595680377133_7447072871462993920_n.jpg71890977_744298086031910_3607469269589164032_n.jpg
The right pheno has bigger leaves, shorter internodal distance and a nitrogen toxicity issue because I feed them both the same way even though this one grows slower.
(I assume)
72418489_614755199055637_8017005518289633280_n.jpg73000559_952480268453462_97219810265399296_n.jpg
As you can see, the leaves are still a bit strange as in the serrations are very loose as well as the overall appearance of the leaves.
If anybody knows what's up any help is appreciated

Day 39~40
The net is filling up nice and quickly thanks to the explosive growth of this strain.
I highly recommend it!
here's the canope day 39 before training

here it is after I tucked the canope even

And now once it face the light again Day 40

I'm no scrog expert, but I'm very satisfied with this structure for a first time!
