The big bloom isn't a flower food really.. think of it as like salt and pepper to your meal. Use it with a flower food in flowering. It's a bat guano earthworm casting tea. It's good but your plant can't live on it. Tiger Bloom is their bloom food and Grow big is their grow food.

Not bad, some people do very well with Fox Farms and like them a lot.

I have the trio pack of foxfarms. It should be murky brown and has little smell. Very little smell but it isn't very nice. And yes it is almost creamy.

thanks guys :-) how much do you guys use can it cause neut burn?
Personally, I think it sounds like you have a bad bottle of nutrients - and I wouldn't use them.

Can they cause nute burn? On these boards, it seems like anyone can do anything and get nute burn. LOL

it's not a bad bottle.

like edude said, it's basically a tea.
it's completely organic so you don't really get the nutrients until its broken down by the microbes...
very very VERY hard to burn with it. ;-)

I am sure you can make a similar or even superior product for much cheaper, but I have been using it for the last couple years out of convenience. I use it along with happy frog dry organic fertilizers and not the inorganic tiger bloom/grow big.

Hey I was thinking of using this same duo (the happy frog dry org fertilizer and the FoxFarm big bloom). How has this been working out for you? I was going to use is on a plant that just started flowering but I haven't fed nutes for a while.

It's worked pretty well for me in the past. I use the 5-8-4 happy frog but am thinking of experimenting with a different brand or NPK ratio. The ease of use and organic ingredients is why I like the dry organic stuff. All I do is give the plants 1/4 to 1/2 cup of FFHF every month in flower and give them 2 tablespoons/gal of FFBB every other watering. I also used some added bloom fertilizer this last run, but have had success without it too.

I still use this now from time to time LOL. Love the stuff works great. It is their bloom formula. Nothing else is needed. Had great plants with this stuff but I needed stuff for bigger plants now LOL.
