Meatloaf died after becoming seriously ill with covid a couple weeks ago, and spurned the safety precautions. He also reportedly didnt want to wear a mask on a plane, and said if I die, I die.

RIP Meat. I'm a big fan from watching their live show on TV in the early 80's to the "fight" he was to have with Peter Criss of Kiss. I was obviously on The Cat's side at the time though. Our band in High School did Paradise by the Dashboard Light for one of the events we played, female singer and all. Good times.

I met him once and we had a soda together.
Very soft spoken man, nothing like the character
he played on stage. Seen him twice in the early 90's
at a local nightclub I hung out at. It was kind of sad,
maybe 200-250 people one time. The next time,
same place, they roped off an area in front of stage
for underage kids to see him. Like 10 kids. rip
