this is my first reply to one of your posts in this thread. it has nothing to do with the length of your post. it is a direct comment to something you said.

I keep asking you for a link to a website or the name of an organization that I can make a donation to help.

You keep deriding me because I can't physically help right now, so provide me with an outlet since you're supposedly the Authority on Action.

I told you a couple times it was buried and you kept at it, so don't play victim now.

i gave you an article with a link to the "salvation army". i also gave you a link to what i found on google search.



if you can't find a way to help, then just get over it. it's not healthy to allow things to "piss you off".

i'm not a victim. i am an adult who accepts the realities of the world i live in. i'm not the one here who is "pissed".

twinkies closed. it sucks. what can you do? nothing but move on at this point.

at least i offer some type of solution. even if it is just "get over it".

Try telling all the families who lost breadwinners paychecks around the holiday's to "get over it" and I think you'll get a pretty clear reaction.

Your apathy makes me sad, not mad.

because of my own actions, and i accept that. as long as it's my own fault it's cool with you, i'm sure. never mind the family i care for that i have to leave behind. my wife, my son, all the others who depend on me. but i'm sure you feel i 'deserve" it so it's OK.

like i said, i accept my world. others should learn to do the same. ;)

i was sentenced to 34 months. i did 4 in IL already so i go in having to do 30. i get 52 days off a year for good behavior which knocks it down to just over 26 months. if i can get accepted into a residential drug program i can get 9 months off and 6 months in a halfway house. best case scenario is 15 months, worst case 26.

Actually, no.

I was asking to see if you too had fallen victim to the farce that is our current drug laws like myself and so many others on here have.

Wasn't an attack.

PS- I'm sorry that your family has to deal with that. It's alot to have on your plate.

i'm glad you are the type of person that can looking beyond differing opinions and see things for the reality they are. you're a good man and i thank you for your thoughts and concern. :hug:

i wish all that happened was me losing my job at christmas. ;)
