RIGHT just a stright Answer please.....

PH!!!! iv got a soil grow and just started to flower, i had a drop test meter but iv just got a proper ph meter and iv been talking to my friends and one says my ph should be 6.8 another says 5.6, iv heard every thing from 5.1 to 6.9. iv always tryed to keep it at 6.5 with the drop meter, so what do all ye think it should be at????

just slighty off of neutral works fine for me

6.8 would be good. but 5.1 would be getten a bit low

I'm with Bubba on this one. I think that a slightly lower than neutral PH is ideal. I don't regulate mine so much, but it's right below 7.

just found out today thats its good to sometimes have thw PH fluctuate to allow certain nutrients to be absorbed.

anywhere around 6.5 should be fine

for perfect soil keap it betwean 6.4 and 6.8..... trying to change the ph lvl to allow the plant to absorb different nutrients would probly do more harm then good

you know you could be on to some thing there the other lads there say 6.8 so i think i might go between 6.8 to ???? whats the lowest i should go??

I shoot for 6.5 in my nutes and never have had any ph problems.peace

so its not good then bud to change the ph!!

5.6 would more than likely be referring to hydroponics.

i wouldn't worry about changing it to much. unless for some reason its drops alot or gets really high.... then you should take steps to bring it back more towards neutral. but purposly trying to make it high or low to help the plant will probly send it into shock....

There is many a person using foxfarm ocean forest soil, me being one of those people. Why? It's good soil of course but if you ever read the bag they even say they keep their soil in the range of 6.3-6.8 ph. After I mix my waterings I always ph it and shoot for between 6.4-6.6, getting as close to 6.5 as possible.

pH naturally fluctuates throughout time. Try to keep it around 6 +/- a few, and you should be fine. It doesn't have to be exact, you have a little leeway. Just dont let it get above seven or below 5
