A week ago something told him to start carrying a Bible book in his work shirt pocket...
Now he's alive...

One man said to the other "... gotta Kill the Polar Bear..."

This undated photo provided by the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) shows bus driver Rickey Wagoner. Wagoner, 49, of Trotwood, told Dayton police he was standing outside the bus early Monday morning, Feb. 24, 2014, when he was shot three times, with one bullet hitting his leg, and stabbed in the arm. Wagoner told police he fought back, grabbed the gun and the attackers ran away. A biblical booklet in Wagoner's shirt pocket apparently helped him survive the shooting. Police say they are looking for three suspects. (AP Photo/Greater Dayton RTA via The Dayton Daily News) LOCAL PRINT OUT; LOCAL TV OUT; WKEF-TV OUT; WRGT-TV OUT; WDTN-TV OUT

Once when there was a tremendous storm, a voice in my head told me to stay inside. I did not get struck by lightening. Wow, thanks voice in my head!

Me too...
I was 12 at the "Gates of the Mountain" where Lewis & Clark...bla-bla....
We were waiting for the storm to pass so we could go out on the lake to see the gates....
I decided to walk back to the car...
The parking lot was gravel, with buried tires as the car stops...
The path I walked from car to office was over a couple of these tire stops...
anyway... started to walk back to car, and got 30 feet from door, and car was about 50 feet away...
It started to pour rain...
I turned around and ran back for office door....
As I reached for door.... "they" said I jumped 3 feet in air, when lightening/thunder hit....
Rain stopped walked back to car...
Gramma says: "...did ya see that lightening hit that buried tire?..."

Right where I had walked before...
well, I guess it was more a not wanting to get wet voice thing...
Yes... I hear voices...

Okay once a buddy and I were fly fishing for salmon on a cold wet overcast day in April. We were in a canoe on a large lake, the ice had just gone out and a huge thunder storm came rolling in over the mountains out of nowhere. His lead core tip on his trolling line was charged with energy and rose straight up in the air. His hair stood up and I figured, we were gonna get hit and the canoe would flip and I'd drown in the ice cold water. A voice in my head said paddle like hell for shore. No wait that was my buddies voice, we paddled for shore and he caught a salmon while we were dodging lightening. I got wet, hypothermic and caught no fish. I could barely hold my beer mug at the bar we went to until like the 5th beer. I did not have any metallic WWII bibles, so I'm not sure how I avoided the bullets. No wait there were no bullets. Whew that was a close one. Okay now it's your turn.
