Rice hulls in Michigan

My local homebrew shop in jackson carries rice hulls. Cork n capp. Same thing you're looking for? Should be easy to source through homebrew stores and websites.

New manager at HTG Supply in Lansing said they will have it soon as well. Guy said he is trying to turn that place into the organic stronghold of the area. Has 5lb and 25lb bags of all the Organically Done products, insect frass, various kinds of castings and said the large sized Down to Earth amendments are on the way.

Hay you did it! I knew something would give, I noticed they're popping up more and more. The organics shelf at the grow store went from three feet to six feet.

A lot of the guys that I knew at the Taylor location have gone off to other locations, and tried to mimic the organic offerings. Taylor still has the biggest selection with 4 or 5 shelves of amendments, but no hulls yet.

Check out Capitol City Grower Supply in Lansing, Mi. They Had rice hulls too last year, they also have a way better organic selection and knowledge of teas of such things as super soil. Hell the store clerk Tyler has helped me many a time with info on tweaking my soil batches. He even gets his compost teas tested sat Msu under the microscope with some big wig over there I guess ... either way that guy knows his shiz!

Mainly used perlite alternative for aeration. It will add some P, K, calcium, magnesium, and micronutrients over a few years. Not a game changer!

Sonny, u make me laugh whenever u tell people what's up. I love it. On a side note, when purchasing organic ammendments try and obtain them from a feed store or nursery rather then a highly marked up hydro store that sells snake oil as well.
