I just think its that kind of thing perpetuating the cycle of racism.......someone says a simple group of letters and someone else freaks out about it......

What do you think would happen if people stopped caring what words other people chose to use?
They would lose their meaning..........

i think ur confusing my post with me being angry. im not mad, angry, furious, etc.

i just dont like that ppl feel they can use it freely, with no repercussions... when most of the ppl that say it dont know the origins of the word. i cant stop any1 on the internet from sayin it, shit, im sure mahlye will probly keep sayin it to spite me.

i just said how i feel about it.

Angry or not you are letting a word bother you and perpetuating the cycle of racism.....you said "he would never say that to my face"
and why is that? because it would piss you off and you would do something about it.....

Why can't people use it freely?
Freedom of speech works for both the good and the bad.
Why should there be repercussions for someone using a word that you don't like?

That's like me saying there should be repercussions for every person that calls someone else a "cracker" or a "gook"

The only reason those words aren't "as bad" is because society dictates what is acceptable and what isn't

I'm sorry that you were offended by it, but that's the way I speak and I would certainly say it directly to you; unless, like you have, expressed that you were uncomfortable or offended by it. I'm articulate but that's purposely. I regularly use slang and that word is part of my regularly used vocabulary. but yes, I understand that it's sensitive and know when to use it and when a person needs to know what I'm about before I do.

Ive tried to let certain words slide.... but when it doesnt stop - and it hasnt - I stop letting it slide.
