RH Humidity?

The RH is 72% Temp 24C/75F, Dark area. Is this acceptable for hang- drying? If I need to lower the RH any cost-freidnylw ways to do so?bongsmilie

You really don't want to go over 60% because thats when mold can form. I know they make these things called DampRid that can be cheap and effective, but im not sure you pull a room down 12% RH with them.

your gonna need a dehumidifier to lower r/h that much. I don't even thing running the a/c can lower that much.

I use water crystals which would be a more expensive version of damprid but you can use it over more times. It swells up to 50 times original size...I put a 2-3 cups in a thick sock and stick it in Tupperware along with the green. Can be bought at ebay or can be found at Lowes in the garden section at about $11 for a pound size bag.

If buds are already dryed ( dry to touch but still spongey ) Is it ok for your R.H. to be at 80%? temp 20 degrees ? to cure

You have asked this in multiple places and I have given you answers in multiple places. No, it isn't okay, and just because the outside of the bud is dry doesn't mean your bud is ready to be jarred. You're never going to be able to cure with your RH 80% and 20C. Never, get a dehumidifier.

is there a rule saying i cant ask things in multiple places?

I like to get many different answers and compare to my experience.

And yes i got a dehumidifier going and RH is now 60%.

if you can afford a dehumidifier. then its time to get a obsoleting fan . dry them with it, better then mold.
