Revegging from a scrog?

Hey guys, I'm doing an 8 plant scrog and thus I want to take clones off the best plant. Of course I want to take how good the yield and smoke are into account, so the best way is to reveg (dont have room to take 8 clones and mother them all)

So I want to know if its it possible to reveg from a scrog? Could I just leave a few branches of each plant in place, despite them being scrogged and revegg them?
