Reveg....

Well guys I had started a pack of beans that I didn't really expect to get anything from. Out of 5 beans I got 1 to grow (first time starting from seed always grow from clone). It was a regular bean so I figured it was going to be male with my luck so I didn't bother cutting clones from it. She's about 6 weeks into flower and some of the best looking bud I've seen (in my garden anyway). I didn't take cuts off her before she went in. Before I chop it I want to try keeping this plant. I was told it's to late to take clones from. My question for you guys how can I save this plant. Reveg cut clones what can I do to get more of it?

Got a pic?
Some strains reveg easier than others. Not sure why.
The best candidates for reveg haven't been lollipoped and still have leaves on lower branches. Just leave a couple of small buds and as many leaves as you can, put it on a veg light cycle, and give her some extra nitrogen.

The answer is yes!

Lol.. try all of the above!

.. try to find some lower, inner shoots to take as clones, and you can also try to reveg it, leave some of the lower branches with some buds and leaves on it, normally the popcorn bud part. I've got a super high yielding white widow I'm trying to reveg now, when my lights come on I'll take a picture, hope it helps!
-good luck

It still has alot of the bottom branches on there. I usually cut them off but for some reason I didn't trim up the bottom much on this one. I'll snap a picture in a little bit of her. And come harvest time should I still cut the branches off and just leave the bottom part with the buds on it?

Yep, I chop most of the top and just leave a couple of lower branches. Don't leave any big buds. The tiny ones work better for reveg.

Thanks I hope it works out for you. I'll try cutting 2 or 3 clones from the bottom today since I got room in my cloner. And if they don't root I'll still try revegging her

I would get some Colloidal Silver and do a few of the bottoms,That way you might end up with a few beans,Then Grow these out and keep cloning these that way you will have beans plus clones If you can get seeds of this again then i would not bother doing anything, apart from ordering more of the beans.

I don't really want to play with making seeds at this time. I'm sure I could buy another pack of them but who's to say I'll get what this plant is. It was from a regular seed and only 1 of the 5 made it.

I have been in this boat many times. I also have had great re veg success.
You want to harvest and leave roughly 1/3 of the plant intact. Usually lower third including buds. Water thoroughly and place under 24 hour light. It can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to a month or more to see the new growth. It will start off kinda weird looking with many many shoots coming from the buds left behind. Once these shoots start showing normal growth I clone like crazy which helps thin back down to a normal number of shoots on the revegged plant. I then throw the revegged plant back into flower and mother out one or two clones.
This has always worked for me. Only issue I have ever had was not leaving enough on. I will even take a plant early just to insure a healthy reveg if needed.
Cheers :)

If the clone don't work I will for sure try revegging this plant out. Thank you I will leave 1/3 of it and see what I can do. Do you just keep the buds on there for good or do you ever cut them off?

I have found what I described much easier and more successful then cloning from a plant in flowering.
After taking the clones from the revegged plant I remove any remaining bud material.
Cheers :)
