retired soldier needs your help

just got my permit to grow in my state I am a retired soldier I am boston and I am not new to growing plants per say marijuana yes need lots of help here is a list of what I have to work with if you need pictures ask me I have them I have a house mine basement under construction turned into permanent site after all upgrades are done it is being turned into a man cave for me away from the family and friends for me to escape will have a 10x10 grow room built in with 3 different spots for veg clone and seed and flower but for now have to use temporary pot my privet tattoo studio and office in major part of the house closet is 4 foot long by 4 foot wide by11.5 high I need to know some stuff like i bought a roll of Mylar ir reflective material to line closet with I have 2 switchable 400 watt dimmable lamps sunshine soilless mix perlite vermiculite I need to now a good nute regiment for organic growing that is not too expensive im also trying my hand in hydroponics also so that when my room is ready I can go ahead and start with that but any way I need to know is r.o water better or can I use tap can I use carbon socks with my ventilated lights also what are some of the better stains to grow medically in soil indoors and what is a good company to order from I have been told not to buy from my state they sell shit seeds and clones everyone has warned me of that so as you can see I need help I am open to ideas and I am willing to lsten to them just please be willing to have a lot of questions and if you stay for the hole thing I will share the hole grow episode with you from start to finish I will post pictures soon of what I have done so far to the closet let me know what you think oh I will start all seeds under high output t5 lights from an old aquarium I had in a seed starter kit I bought from the hydroponic store here

As for as soil I use happy frog.I've used it for a few years now.I was using fox farms ocean.but to me happy frog is the shit!..alli do it water fir 1st 28-35 days. Then all I use is ionic bloom and ionic boost.I keep my Ph at about 6.0 and got kick ass results. I grow sour of. And get 8-9.5 oz. a plant dry!!.I keep my temp 78 degrees always .unless clones a Lil warmer.I also use 1000 Watt lights..I use my happy frog soil start to finish!..like I said I've gotten kickass results and wouldn't change it for nothing! .
A lot of ppl probly do not but I use my 1000 Watt GPS bulbs for veg and flower!.againworkes great for me.I got a 14x14 shed lined with bright white plastic..I also use a heater with thermostat in winter as I am in Michigan.

I use HF also. Why do you keep your ph at 6.0? It is nice soil.

If you don't have a aversion to growing in soil for a bit longer its amazing, has not let me down in the 7+yrs I have used it, it is organic and its CHEAP.
The recipe can be broken down into smaller batches.
After you have it ready to go in pots all you do after that is water it with plain water.
So its also super easy.

not to down a situation because I don't the medical problems are as followed ptsd nausea weight loss and hepitis c from a blood transfusion I received in elpaso Texas after they removed part of my left arm that was destroyed with shrapnel in Kandahar then on top of it I have uncontrollable epilepsy I am on 32 medications at once and when investigating it they all have 3 chemical compounds found in pot naturally so my doc suggested medical for me I thought she was joking but she was not I just cant tell the VA as for the super soil what is it and I am actually thinking about sticking with soil I just finished 4 different books and they all say the same thing soil is way better than hydro and that there are fewer organic nutes for hydro than soil and as for thanking me for my services well appreciated but on that day I lost 9 best friends 5 of which I went to school with 2 who had boys that played with mine and 1 that was my best man at my wedding that all did not come home alive I miss them dearly not too sound like a girl thank them or if you are interested donate to the vets mmj fund its a group started to help provide vets with seeds clones and stuff that can not afford it just ask me and I will send you the info its very easy I am going to take on 2 for a care taker for them I have plenty of room. but any way explain more please

I keep it at 6 Ph or close..it just seems to give me outstanding results.seems to work well never had on root rot,salt build up.knock on wood.just what works great for me!..I get the most out of my sour og

Soil is more forgiven than hydro! .

Soil = better tasting bud

Marijuana prefer a slightly acidic base for optimal conditions. the brand of nutrient is not important really since you cannot get different types of nitrogen etc lol. just make sure that for vegging you use a high nitrogen nute, a good ratio is N 30 : P 10 : k 10, for flowering a nute with higher potassium content is better.

The super soil recipe I use is by a breeder called Subcool. He has his own sub forum right here at RIU. https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/
He inspired me to step up my game years and years ago at another forum site.
After checking out his genetics and learning about his methods I gave his SS a try.
He has had the recipe online for free for years.
Let me tell you the first time I used it the results blew me away.

I mixed up a 1/2 batch let it sit a week or so, then went back to check it for a soil web.
(The soil web looks like spider webs all over the top of the soil and is made up of beneficial bacteria.)
Much to my delight my soil was ALIVE. Thats what it is after all its living soil just like nature.
Waited the rest of the 60 days for it to "cook", now its not actually cooking but breaking down all the ingredients into a form that is usable by the plant.
I then filled about 30% of the pots with it, took my 1month veg-d plants stuck them in.
Then I filled the rest of the pot with plain roots soil.
Veg-d for another week and a half and off to flower they went.
While in flower nothing was added but water.
And 65days later I was amazed, I had a unbelievable crop of the best looking bud I had ever grown.
Not only was it better looking it was a better yield then I had ever had.
It didn't stop there though the dry cured bud was some of the best I have ever had.
Way smoother and a much better taste then any method I had tried before.

I have tried Hydro, Aero, DWC....
Sure they worked but I get better results with far less work and money using super soil.
I don't think ill ever change method again.

if you are asking about nute chemicals then technically it is not a compound, the 3 elements in question are nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium.

yes I do what I will do is I will find them and I will post them and then I will show you the website where we found them my doctors one that pointed it out to mehow do I go about posting pictures so I can get some help on setting up this grow room I'm really lost on how to do this and I'm trying to figure out your soil mixture is kinda hard for me to readif there's anything else I can help you with let me know the glad to help you out

Thanks for all the help mate i just started i am having bigger issues setting up my closet i have 2mh /hps400watt lamps i have 50 ft of ir reflectie mylar stome dent i have super soil that i got from subcools set up in organics i was told only to use water git a fan or twi need how to set it all up i have 12 5gallon pots and i was given 4 clones to start buying seeds now need also know how to post pics here can you help

Have you mixed the soil yet?
If not I would get that going let it sit for 2 months before using it.

If you are really lost on the basics of grow room setup search youtube.
There are some good videos for a basic idea of what you need to do to get going.
I cant personally recommend one maybe someone could help?.

I would watch a few and get the gist, and figure out what will work for you.

The 2 400's are going to put off allot of heat.
What room are you putting them in? the 4'x4'? or the 10'x10'?
They would work very well in the 4x4 but you will need some really good ventilation.
Do you have air cooled reflectors? or open air reflectors?
