Resinating Nugs?

i had an idea, but someone had told me it wouldnt work. Perhaps you can explain you me why.

You know how when you smoke a joint, the roach becomes super sticky and wet. well if i build a pipe that i can place a nug or loose bud inside of a chamber, perhaps between two screens, so that all the vapors pass through the chamber and hopefully stick to the peices of bud helping make it more potent, why will it not work?

my joints/blunts only get sticky at the ends if some1 is wettin that end of it.

and to your idea... wouldnt the herb have be NOT touching anything?

the herb is only touched by the smoke or vapor as it passed through the chamber holding the herb.(preferably a packed chamber to maximized the herb's exposure to the smoke)

think about it like packing your bowl with bud to smoke. but inside the hollow bowl(chamber) you pack it with herb, so all the smoke sucked through the bowl resinates the bud.(of course this would be impractical to do in a bowl, considering it might get stuck in there.)

so you want to filter your herb smoke with more herb?

am i gettin it right?

i think it would work - if you could do it.

i think his idea is to try to strengthen lower-quality herb by inundating it with the thc in the smoke from other herbs.

actually, why not just make hash from the other herbs and add the hash directly to the buds, without burning anything. this way you don't have to worry about extra ash, thc being broken down by the heat from direct flame, etc.

it was supposed to be a quick creative idea. Im really not looking into fucking making hash out of my weed. I just thought it would be cool. I dont smoke hash, i just like traditional bud. rolled or bowled or bonged. I dont make brownies, i dont make hash, i dont make fucking weed tea, or any other stupid shit.

I get that's what you were trying to do. I thought you would be more concerned with the end result which is why I reccomended making hash and adding that hash to your nugs would create the end result of more potent nugs.

Using your nugs to filter the smoke from other nugs would theoretically make them more potent, but it seems to me a very inefficient way to create more potent buds. If I can find a new connect before I go to school I'll give it a try.

Hey, I did that as a Kid and it worked. Also if you forget about it and are out of weed, your like, "damn" i hit the jackpot>>>

we had a bowl that had a chamber for that in high school. Its a waste of time if you're looking for it making it better, just clean our your bowl and stick some bud in the mound of resin and youll get the same exact effect. Tastes like shit, looks like shit, doesn't do shit. Unless you're really into resin hits.

don't listen to anyone else in this thread but me rite now...i OWN a pipe that does this!!!!!!! it has a chamber in the middle that u pack w/ weed and it resitnates yur nugs NICELY i mite add....further more...the cannabis club i buy my weed from sells these nugs at very high prices...their called hunny nugs!!!! wonderful things they really are...the flavor gets infused...u get 2 diff types of highs....im gunna go look for that pipe real quik and take a pic for yalls!!!

I used to do this about 5 years ago. Since I didnt trust anyone or sometimes even myself to hold the nice glass piece when trashed... I had a pipe with a chamber in the middle, would put a couple nugs in it to let them get resinated and also as an extra filter for the smoke. After smoking about a half oz through that pipe, those nugs will be completely black. Perfect for smoking on that day your out of weed. Just dont let the cops or other stoner friends find your pipe.

i couldn't find mine so i googled it...."chamber pipe" is wut its called



as you can see, in the shaft of the pipe there is a cavity. this particular pipe should fit about a 1/2 8th, and will require 2 extra screens on either side of the chamber to ensure that no ash tarnishes your weed...if u focus on the mouth piece of the pipe, u might notice a small separation where the mouthpiece and chamber meets, thats because it twists off. in fact, these types of pipes come apart at the mouthpiece, bothe see through chambers, the bowl, the joint that connects the bowl to the first chamber, and that bowl cap that allows your weed to be put out instead of cherrying(embering) thus, waisting weed...these pipes are great...pretty old school... it would take like the same amount that u put in the chamber as it would to resinate the nugs throughly..

FINALLY!!! SUM1 WHO KNOWS ABOUT THE OLD SKOOL RAINY DAY RESIN NUGS!!! thas exactly wut i used mine for...sumtimes i'd forget that there was weed in the chamber!!!

You mean like a smokeless pipe? They already have them ... Except you smoke the nug inside them, the heat would release the THC from the trichs anyway I imagine... Unless it's a long ass pipe and some cool smoke.
But pipes still collect oil that you can smoke so why shouldn't it work?
