Reservoir taking up space in your short tent? Diy short tent booster platform

My stepson just started growing this past winter. I do dr earth and other dry amendments in a sip, Mr pro decided to go with hydro. His tent is only 5' tall. With his res, then his flood and drain bucket on top, he's got about 16" before he hits his light. I made him a scrog net to put in there, but it's not enough to contain the stretch. His tops get toasted. He's got it all figured out now tho. Just going to keep topping into week 1 of flower.

I figured if the res was underneath the entire tent, he'd free up at least another "16. So I did what any asshole that wanted to prove a point would do. I bought some 2x4's and raided the scrap wood bin at a pallet manufacturer for some scrap particle board and built the damn thing. Like a boss.


He's setting it up tomorrow, I'll take some pics of the final resting place.

He put the plants in finally. Not the way I would have done it. I would have put the plants bin in the tent and piped it to the res underneath. He decided to cut a giant hole in the bottom of his tent and stick the plant through. Open invitation for pests. He's a lot smarter than me though, I have to remember that
