I bet that a tote with a layer of spray foam like you said and then wrapped in a layer of well-sealed reflectix would do as good or better than a yeti.
The more dead air space you can create between bucket and insulation wrap...the better your R value.
Like someone else said though, its all about application.
You don't want to insulate your buckets if you only have heat sources in it...ie airpump, waterpump. That is only going to keep the heat in.
