Right on brother, always have heard good things about Fox Farm nutes...of course FFOF is always a good mix to use as a basis for your mix...i hear what your saying about there being something better out there...i really would like to see an FFOF/coco mix...

they are feminized. no issues yet *knocks on wood*.

Right now I'm using..

Fox Farms: Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger bloom
Botanicare: Cal Mag, Sillica
GO: BioWeed (cold processed kelp)

Yeah it's real airy, probably too airy. Doesn't hold moisture for more than 2.5 days now at 30-35% RH. I have some PE next to them in a different mix, to see which I like the best. Although I'm trying to slowly move away from Fox Farms, and into real organics. Real slow. Fox Farms works great, but I know there is something better. Probably some liquid GO feed, as well as some stuff mixed in the soil is where I'm headed next.

I will probably just change one variable each grow, and see what works best. You have to understand the soil, and the roots, to truly understand the flowers your growing. Healthy resinous flowers are a by product of healthy soil and a thriving root system.
Yeah I like a airy soil so they roots can really breath have you tried roots organic at all I feel it's a little richer mix that's what I moved too they also have quiet a bit more perlite so they don't like cube up like fox farms when they dry out some but yea you'll find out what works best for them, what's the other mix consist of?

The other mix is victory gardens soil.. with alfalfa, rock phosphate, and kelp meal mixed in.. and about 30-40% perlite.

Awesome. Your white bear is right where my pineapple express is. Transplanted about 2-3 weeks ago also. Going to flower in a couple weeks. When are you flowering the white bear??

Yeah I'm on the same page. Chopping headband next week. It will be a few days past peak ripeness. Probably 20% amber. I will veg out the Pineapple Express until they get a dozen more nodes or so... Then into the flower tent they go. Then Super Lemon Haze seeds start. :)

Sweet. That LAD looks crazy frosty for 24 days by the way. Frostier than my headband was at day 30. Have you tweaked your technique or equipment since the OG18?

No I haven't tweaked anything. Just better genetics. I will be upgrade atleast to a 600 watt in a 2 weeks or so and going to try and run coco which I had bought, I have my male in flower in a seperate area under a couple cfl's getting ready to ball up for me and I will be making a few cross's with the LAD male. That is it and understanding more about how my ladies feel and look.I barely check ppm and I let her tell me when to feed.
