I flushed her again today, unfortunatley shes not ready to chop yet! I'm thinking friday or sometime this weekend for sure though! I really want to see the rest of these hairs receed and/or some trics turn a hint of amber.We will see what they do under the 400hps next round

hey treeZ, i know we always want to see amber thrichs, but should they be amber on this strain? i was reading about some sativa strains that they are done when the trichs are all cloudy and thats all you want, it they go amber, the thc has already started to degrade. its kinda like venus, i never had any amber thrichs but since i went the 13 years or how ever long it was and they were all cloudy, that shit turned out pretty good, just a thought.
heres the when to harvest thing again.
WHEN TO HARVEST
Trichomes are small appendages that look like hairs. They are produced by marijuana, and other plants. Female marijuana plants produce certain trichomes that are a rich source of THC. These trichomes can be found in their largest concentration on the buds. They start out clear, turn a milky color, then turn amber (light brown).
The trichomes in picture 1 are clear. After the plant has flowered for a few weeks, the trichomes start to turn a milky color (picture 2). After a few more weeks, they will be totally milky in color. In the later stages of flowering, trichomes will turn to a light brown color (picture 3). The amount of time required to get to this point depends on the marijuana strain and the growing conditions.
In picture 2 you can see the stems have started to turn from a clear color to a milky translucent color. For maximum THC content and a more cerebral and energetic high, harvest your plants when a majority of the trichomes on the plants in your garden are a fully milky translucent color.
You can wait until most of the trichomes have started to turn amber, but the resulting marijuana will produce more of a sleepy body stone than it would if plants were harvested earlier. The trichome in picture 3 is about 90% amber, with just a trace of the milky translucent color it previously possessed.
After the trichome is fully amber in color, the THC starts to degrade. This makes it very important to harvest marijuana at the time before a majority of the trichomes have attained a total amber color. If not, the marijuana will not be as potent as it could have been.
Based on that information once trichomes have turned milky white maximum THC levels have been reached and remain at that level until fully amber. So any time between fully milky white and fully amber is the peak THC level and when each person needs to decide when to harvest in that period of time is solely based on each individuals personal preference in high or stone of combination of each.
In short the prime time to harvest is variable based on personal preference as long as it is between when the trichomes have turned fully milky white and when they are fully amber.
Pure sativas and highly predominant sativas reach maximum THC potency when the trichomes are still clear. It will max out just before clouding occurs so it is best to harvest them at the first signs of clouding. But many people call any cross that is over 50% sativa a sativa and unless a strain is upwards of 80% sativa or higher you would want to wait until you see mostly cloudy trichomes with some amber trichomes and possibly with a few clear trichomes left.

Hell yea CD, thats exactly what I was thinking but I'm a little confused because this looks more sativa but in the description it says mostly indica? If thats the case, which they've been pretty on point so far with the description then I'm going to go for this.

Thats why I figured a hint of amber just to know the thc has reached max potency or at least showing some maturity in the buds by seeing those white pistils die and receed back in the bud before I chop! Its ready though for the most part, I looked at the very top of the buds and there solid milky!
Btw, it will be 11 weeks tomorrow!! HOLY HELL lmao 77 DAYS Flowering!

Hey Smelly, nice pics. Harvest is soooo close! Have you touched your plants? ie. trimming leaves, squeezing buds. I was wondering if your KK had a fuel type aroma to it? Mine has a smell of fuel...waaaay different than the Gum. It is also showing some weird signs. I talked about it on my most recent update, but will say it here. Let me know if either of these happened to you. I have four blade fan leaves. It looks almost mutated. It appears to have five leaves, but the fourth and fifth leaves look fused together! Whole bunch of them that way! Another thing is (and I will get you a pic of this tomorrow) that I have branch shooting straight up that looks as though it just started flowering? It has like four white hairs and that is it. Appears to be three weeks or more behind, but the rest of the plant is fine...just that one site.

Yea when I was trimming the smaller buds a day after they where drying, holly hell it stuck up the house quick! Fuel aroma seems like a good description, it does smell sweet to a certain extent in the jar once it starts to cure but I haven't had a chance to cure it more than a day or 2 yet lol... Definitely a very potent smell when drying though so be ready

Alright, lmk if I missed you! Well ladies and gentelmen, she is chopped! Holy hell did she stink, I think my whole street smelled her unfortunatley lol... As I predicted both dry boxs are maxed out!!! Shit is so dense and fat its amazing!!!
