Like to ask you a question. I am currently rocking out 975 cfls and its working very well. I have 30 23s and 7 42s spread over two and a half girls. I like using smaller cfls cause coverage is never a problem just need to adjust. I see your rocking a 200w 6500k CFL in the back could be wrong and it may be 150 regardless how do you find the performance of that bigger bulb? I was going to get two 200 or 250w and either pimp the flowering room with two 2700k or start a veg room with two 6500k thoughts? I would build hoods for them as well. I know 500 watts be perfect for the Veg so my question really is performance and penitration. Thanks in advance.
The three bigger cfls are 85watts and the smaller ones are 23w. Performance wise I love em, they penetrate alot better than the 23s, as for your 42s im not sure if the difference would be huge. I would imagine a 200 or 250 would penetrate amazingly just not sure of how hot, the 85s don't really get much hotter than the 23s honetly so I wouldn't think 200w would be much hotter.Like to ask you a question. Yeah heat isn't a issue at all, I love my 42s and could easily have a set up of purely 42s. Even at 85 watts its a big CFL, was just hoping I could get away with a bigger bulb and move the lights away some.
