res problems, milky white with stuff floating around

before I get started. I am using all advanced nutrients products/sensi bloom A and B/ Bud Candy/ Big Bud. I am also using Hydrozyme as well.

Okay when I fill my resuvoir(20 gallon black tote) its fine for about a day, then it starts to get milky white with stuff floating around in it. I know that there is absolutly no light getting in there and none when the table floods. also I am sure that the water is always really cool. A friend of mine says that is just fine but I have used GH products and never seen anything like this. Any advice would be greatly helpful and thanks in advance.

Does it look like the "ectoplasm" stuff on ghostbusters? I just ran into the same stuff in my cloner and my res. No smell to it, but it clogged my cloner and killed my little guys. No idea what the hell it is though. Been doing this for 3 years and never ran into it before in cloner. Using clonex in the cloner and General Hydro in the res for vegging.

im guessing it might be a by product from one of the approximately 4000 biochemical reactions the enzymes in that stuff create.

quit jackin it in the rez use your toliet

with AN drop all the bennys or zymes, just use big bud and b52 and shit will be clean

so dump and clean out the res! refill without the hydrozyme and bud candy and you should be fine

I use Candy never had any problems.

I agree with colocowboy. What does your roots look like?

Sounds like something is def living in ur res. You could install a simple pond/water filter, that would get rid of the symptoms, but not the problem. For something to live, it needs light, water and nutes and a place to breed. It wouldn't be some kind of fungus/organism living in ur grow medium would it? I remember I got a lot of white mycelium growth in coco (You can actually use coco to grow shrooms as well). Just check the vitals, EC, PH, water temps and make sure you give it a really good clean when changing the res and you shouldn't have any real issues.
