wow! All those people were holding up signs that said " Im a republican". If you look real hard you see one that says " Im a Libertarian" he's the one yelling the loudest " Whats your question"?

How do you know they are republicans, Did you poll each and every one of them? Or are you just assuming it?

FWIW I did not hear 1 single boo. People are just angry because she came there not to ask a question but to drum up sympathy for herself.

First you go on and on about whether or not they are republicans then you proceed to defend them.

Well, I watched the video and I didn't hear a single "boo" either. However, they were extremely rude to her and should have let her make the statement, especially since it wasn't a particularly long one. I've heard plenty of people on the other side of the argument (I rank among them) make lengthy statements that never get around to a question so fair is fair. I didn't catch where this town hall was at, but segments of that audience looked like they were told they were going to a Jerry Springer taping.

there were no signs saying republican or libertarian but they wouldn't be harassing her if they were on her side.
so, where were they when all these republicans started just ranting at these meetings? i want my country back, you're destroying america, blah blah blah. those people weren't asking questions either. yeah, it's pretty easy to tell which side they were on.

Handicap people are always right.
LOL.........

But I mean honeslty these town halls are stupid. And it does show the "conservitives" lack of somthing called respect. They screem and boo this lady but then bitch when the "liberal media" doesnt let them finish what they are saying.

Wow looks like some more hypocrisy its ok though both sides smell like booboo butter.

Obama off the top rope!

If this was a High School assembly, the principal would tell them to sit down, shut the fuck up, and wait their turn.
These people need to remember what they were taught in school and the local sherriff needs to grow some balls and be the principle.
These Town Halls are necessary but, there's got to be some common curtesy and disipline among the participants for it to work.

It is unfortunate this woman is in a tough spot. How many of you that think she should be helped have contacted her and sent her money?

She said she was afraid she would lose her home due to not being able to pay property taxes. Isn't that part of the problem?'

Part of the problem was that wheelchair cost $2500 and a babystroller costs $20 and its the same thing. Why you say?

Because "Conservitive thinking" on health care you see? If we didnt have insurance companys wheel chair companys wouldnt jack up the prices so high knowing peoples insurance would have to fit the bill.. But quite the reverse has happend now insurance will choose not to cover certain things because of price inflation do to private owned insurance companys ripping people off legaly.

Same goes for car insurance you will pay them your HOLE life will you ever see the RETERN? NO or they wouldnt be in the buisness. ITS ABOUT MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE IT ALWAYS WILL BE! THEY SEE NUMBERS NOT PEOPLE!

Same with weed now we bring up the money involved and what happends? We scream to be taxed and what happends? Its all about getting the papper they print because once it hits circulation everyone that touches that dollar now has a debt of 10% (give or take it moves ALOT) witch also in turn goes to rich people that own credit card companys and insurance companys and political types. Oh yeah and those police that beat you up and take you to jail for havng a joint in witch case they fine you and get more money.

We should get rid of all taxes unless they are GIVEN to the government. Like a charity thats the only way. They would have to do what the majority wants or they wont get paid you see?

They cant force you to pay taxes only the state can but the state tax is consitutional. Forcing someone to pay taxes on a note you created is slavery and its no longer legal in the united states our founders made sure of it. Dont pay taxes until they do what you feel is the right thing.

Stop paying all your federal income taxes and I can guarantee they will eventually "Force" you to pay for it. You will either go to prison, or you will have your money legally taken away before you even get to see it. If you try hard enough not to pay it they will send people with guns.

I agree with you though, the government needs to learn to do more with less.

Did anyone else hear her say her medication costs her almost $400 every 2 weeks?

She wasn't griping about property taxes, she was trying to make a point about prescription drug costs. She's afraid she'll lose her home because she has to pay so much money for her medications that she won't be able to pay the tax on her home and they'll TAKE IT from her.

Was she trying to drum up sympathy? OF COURSE she was!

How callous do you have to be NOT to feel sympathy for her, let alone heckle her while she's trying to speak?

What strikes me as odd, is that the federal government repealed the long distance telephone tax (because it was designed to pay for something that ended half a century ago), yet the income tax (that was designed to pay for the Civil War, a war that ended over a HUNDRED YEARS ago) remains.

There should not be "Sides" we should all act as a cohesive unit to bring about change. When politicians are in front of the Cameras they completely pander and lie to the citizens and pretend that partisan politics is the only way to make it work. Behind the scenes the dems are having supper with the repubs and they are all great friends who know its all just an act in front of the camera, they are cut from the same cloth.Besides the politicians don't run the country, they only act as the middle man, the big "Money Trust" are the ones who run the country.

FWIW I am not a republican, but I will defend anyone who is inaccurately labeled. You do not know with any accuracy what the political affiliation is for any single person in that town hall, the gal in the wheelchair could very well be a republican and being berated by democrats, you can't prove otherwise.
