(++ rep for help) HELPMEPick top 3 strains for my 2kw sog

Hey guys, I have been doing a lot of reading on the strains I want to grow, and wouldn't you know, can't narrow it down any further. I only have room for 3, and like 6 options.

Priorities are yield and quality.

You can skip straight to the bottom to read the strains I am considering. THANK YOU! :weed:

I really appreciate your votes on this...

goals will be overall quality and yield. There will be a 2kw SOG low pressure aero based on Aero flo 60.

I am starting with feminized seeds in all cases, will be cloning after veg. Perpetual style.

Veg room is 3x4 aero cloner type design under 400 watt mh digital.

Flower is 2000 watt 4x8x5 space with homemade aero tables.

EVERYTHING will be controlled to optimums, except in the veg room, where things will be a little more liberal.

THE CHOICES!! :D

1) White Russian feminized Serious seeds
2) Super Lemon haze (cant remember, but which is best breeder, Greenhouse?, and I believe this won't be worth the yield? is it good for SOG? dont know much about this one)

3) DP Feminized Master Kush (OR DP Fem Skywalker, which do you prefer?)

4) White Gold feminized (forget the breeder, which is best you think?)

5) Paradise seeds Sensi star feminized (any other breeder better?)

6) Serious seeds chronic feminized

7) Super Silver Haze.... But greenhouse has feminized cheap and Mr. Nice wants serious bank and not feminized, which do you think?

UNDER ABSOLUTE, sealed room optimal conditions (Co2 ppm 1500, RO water, GH nutes most likely, 2000 watts in 4x8 etc, Portable AC)

I AM AIMING FOR 400+ G/m2 but the higher the better...
but without giving up quality preferably.

So what do you think? :leaf::fire::leaf:

Oh, and should I use attitude, or is seedboutique still good? (I used to use the latter, but that was like 6 years ago...have been hearing mixed messages these days...
so Attitude?)

Thanks

i only use the tude and never had a prob. i 2 do sog but this site is fucked up today so i cant link it its called flower power 36/12 idk if you have grown like this to get a good perpetual going you need stuff that will finish up at the same speeds so keep that in mind. your not going to want something that takes 11 weeks in with something thats 8. next you have to look into the strech of the strain in flower if you have something going 3 times higher than the other and have to move the light up for the 1 the shorter will suffer. but by wanting to go perpetual your telling me your looking to make some money my best advice is run just 1 strain for selling it will run alot smother and then have the strains you want on the side for your head stash. there is alot to perpetual dif stuff can take nutes better than other and the list goes on

Thanks guys! I think I will go with Chronic and White Russian. I hadn't considered the lighting issue.

I was going to run 3 homemade Aero flo 30s side by side, with a strain in each one. I figured I could work out the flowering timing differences by keeping it within a range of 10 days or so for finish (all strains less than or around 60 days flowering, avoiding pure sativas I suppose).

Couldn't I work out the timing during veg. I would plant one set at week 0, another at week 2, and finall at week 4. Flowering could be seperated by 3 weeks, but damn what do I do with the lighting, thats a serious issue

The whole point of using 2kw in such a space was to get above 50 watts per square foot (Portable AC and timed Vortex) and yet have reasonable temperatures. Yet if they are different heights I'm not going to be able to get the lights as close as I should to the youngest plants without being too close to the others.

well would it matter that much with the sog plants, they're all gonna be <= 2 feet tall when they finish anyway?

Also, I was going to use seperate res for each strain, that way I could run straight osmosis water for the last 2 weeks to flush.

PS how do you add rep on this site? cant seem to find it

as long as know how far each will strech in flower your cool i grow sog so im just throwing some things out for you to consider im not tryen to rain on your parade or anything. and to the right of your name youll see a set of scales but im not sure if it is working being the site is fucked up today but if you run into anything you wish to know pm me

I've decided to construct two aero flo 30s side by side with 17-20 gallon res for each.
We will run water also though, so that in the last two weeks we can use our spare pump to empty the res and replace it with fresh, ph balanced RO water.

Sven diesel what nutes do you use? I used to use GH blend + kool bloom in an ebb and flo but I've heard that advanced nutes are much better apparently (even considering cost)?

Alternatively I've heard one individual say that using the Lucas formula with GH, plus some of the additives from AN would produce excellently.

Also, for anyone who knows, do the nutes you choose affect the flavor, or is taste only a function of whether you flush or not? People have been swearing by organics, but chemicals are chemicals.

I would think that only the presence of impurities, presumably not present in higher quality organics, would negatively affect the crop, but what else?

I got some Ak-47 from Serious going right now. Highly reccommended. I get my seeds from KindSeed. Alot of people here swear by nirvana and attitude. Personaly if Kindseed was no longer in business I would go with The Attitude.

yeah i think gh is the most user friendly but advanced is what im running i have tried a few tho i have the botanicare pro blend with the sweet grape and liquid karma im going to go a go with that i tried fox farms junk stay as far from that as you can the 2 things i see the most of on here r fox farms and whats wrong with my plants they do make it look real perty for the hippies. i played with aero just for fun with a nutramist triple head fogger and advanced had the least salt buildup i think for the money and its ease of use its the best thing going

All I use is FF. THough I don't run hydro.

I prefer hydro. You only have to fill the res instead of handwatering 100+ plants. No dirt to throw out. I'll be making the switch over the next 6 months. I'm starting with aero. I made a unit from StinkBuds design.

i did aero with the nutramist foggers i still stick with the flood and drain if something happens to the power you can still hand water. dont use the ff in dro i have never had such a problem with ph ever they sent me there dro lineup 80% just sits in the bottom of the res it dropped the ph over a point the first day i fixed that so i thought checked it the next day it was back down in the 4s thats all the farther it made it i scrapped it to much of a headach
