Don't toss them yet. If they are standing up and looking somewhat perky, you should be able to salvage them. If nothing else it's a learning experience for you. My first attempt at cloning was a branch that I had snapped off accidentally. It lay on the ground for over 2 hours, and I just cut most of the stem off of it, dipped it in some rooting powder, threw it in a cup of soil and let her root. In about 10 days she was rooted and ready to go! My next attempt? Let's just say it wasn't as successful as my first.
It was still a learning experience for me.
Different strains and even individual plants will all take to cloning differently. Some root really easily and quickly and others are a pain in the booty.
