Rene i hope you dont mind but i was just making a thread and realized you guys would probably know the answer. :-P

Im going to start a new grow with a 150w cfl with the reflector for veg. and flower I want a 400w hps with a cooltube but im not certain on the type of ballast. Ive heard that digital is the way to go and i agree you get what you pay for. But im really looking for some feedback because the least amount of heat would be nice also ;-)

Sorry guys was in a bad mood this morning someone pissed me off about my grow last night so went to bed kinda mad and woke up grizz but getting better now well mostly have to fix the hinge on my truck today just like a bitch always wanting more lol damn chevys I love to hate them...anyways I watered last night normally I would have fed but with the n being so high I decided not to...the clones are looking good and I'm gonna take a few more today...had to transplant sam because she was root bound in a 5 gal bucket so now she is double potted in a 10gal soil..kloe is staring to fill out and maria. as well I intend to try a screen on them could use some advice...

Hey sorry i asked on your thread dude, its all good no worries....ive never done a screen or a trellis, i wish i had a big enough grow to do one. Is that what you need help with? well take care of your MH through pm's...if you need help with the rootbound plant, the only thing ive ever done what i transplanted a root bound plant was break off about 1/3 of the soil from the bottom of it before you put it in its new home

Don't be sorry was just pissy this morning not with you either Idk though about cool tubes and ballasts to get I bought my ghetto lights and they are working for me beyond that I'm pretty worthless lol I've had rootbound plants in the past and I took care of that but I was surprised to see the root mass never had a problem with any in a 5 gal bucket except my 7' before it was snapped and thanks for helping with the mh its driving me nuts sure I can do it but its something I've never done so don't want to try uneducated so to speak

are you going to be running veg and flower at same time in separate rooms

well mount ballast outside grow so heat isnt a issue i like the magnetic ballast myself so i can run mh or hps and i heard some bulbs wont work in digital
but if u do get digital spring for a switchable ballast

I'd have to say a switchable ballast would be good thing to have wish I had one at times and ncg thanks for your help with my mh

haven't wired it up yet but I'm getting there! My neighbor is awesome I've been needing tables for my girls good tables that is and she gave me 2 rolling tables that adjust up or down and the best part fit perfect in my closet

haha well maybe the fact that they roll is the best part no more dropping plants!

hey no problem, glad i could help. now go wire it up lol!! that was cool of your neighbor to give you those. they sound like pretty sweet tables

edit: thanks for the info on the ballasts' guys, im not to concerned with a mh bulb because of the 150w cfl. im stuck on cfl's man lol. im probaly gonna get the digital one from htg for like 190, plus i can drive there so its not bad. im gonna get a 6' fan/filter combo deal while im there so the drive is worth it. :weed:

Well sounds like ya already know what to get

personally I just buy the lights complete cheaper from what I found to but I love htg that's where I got my 600w hps...also haven't got to that mh yet I didn't feel well yesterday

still don't today but work calls its one those I'm gonna be late days but fuck it! Lol

So I don't think I'm gonna be able to get to a computer any time soon could be up to another week before I can

but lucky limes going to be a dear and post some pics more recent pics for me they are from 3-16 to 3-22...during my break from riu lime has helped me a lot I swear the man knows what I'm doing better than I do! And of course ill explain the pics after he posts them

ok so here ya have some individual shot of all but nicole..idk why but I don't often take pics of just her or my purple lights..anyways I haven't done a thing different to them and I am amazed they look so well and have only fed them twice and I'm ready to start flowering I'm gonna start with one or 2 to flower first so now I just need to decide which I'm thinking its time for annie what do you all think?

Annie looks ready to flower. She looks to be around 14 inches or so? Nice and healthy looking too. :weed:

Actually I measured her a couple weeks ago lol she is 20" and sam is close second at 17" so think I may just have to toss those 2 in thanks 420god how's everything going for you?

It was a weird storm, lightning and thunder with the snow coming down real hard. Kinda cool to watch.
