Reliable brand for hid lighting

Hi all. I've been using CFLs (6 42w per 3 plants) and plan on vegging them for another month, maybe 2. However I plan on getting a HID light at some point.

Here is what I have to consider...

I live in the middle of nowhere, so you-know-who driving around with IR cameras is pretty much not going to happen, so I don't need to worry about hotspots.

I plan on doing no more than 6 plants at a time. All for personal use. Feminized strains as well. (Going to have mother plant separate in hydrohut, clones in separate hydrohut, and the 6 plants I plan to bud in either a hydrohut or just in the open in the room.

I need a reliable HID light system, something that will last me years. Something that will also run relatively cool.

I plan on using a nice, custom built (still designing it) CFL setup for the mother plant (because it will stay in vegetative state for a year) and for the cloning chamber. But I will more than likely need a good HID system (switchable) to use on the 6 plants to get them from veg to flower.

Anyone have any recommendations for where to get a setup (preferably a complete kit)?

Make sure you buy a newer digital or electronic ballast. They run 20-30% more efficient saving you money and they produce less heat. Also get one that can run 120/240v and run conversion bulbs. Meaning you can run HPS or MH from the same fixture. Whatever one you buy make sure it comes with a long warranty. I have seen 5 year warranties but 1 is more common. Anything with less than a 1 or 2 year warranty is probably going to be crap. good luck
