regular and auto grow, take a look.

that thing is awesome for 32+ shipping!! hows it work? gota thro some pics up man.....
I'm on it!

Works decently, all it's really missing is the ability to focus. This is pretty limiting but it is cool to be able to take pics/videos. Not the quality I'm looking for though. I want a f***ing nice camera with a macro lens so bad :(

Stuff looks great though bro. How do you like the light rail so far? I had a cheap one a while back but it came broken and never took the time to fix it. Still have it in my garage, may take a look later. Still interested in the concept, do you think I would be okay with hanging multiple 27lb reflectors on them? A 12 ft rail would fit my needs perfectly.

CB

PS Saw a video where DJ Short talked about a new concept using helicopter lights(?). Basically a fan with 6 different blades and each blade has a 150w light on it. Each light is a different spectrum and they spin fast(forgot how fast exactly but pretty darn fast). The idea is that plants wont grow into a fixed object so keeping the lights spinning will create a more even canopy. He says it helps with penetration as well. Thought it was cool and felt like sharing.

Ive been a fan of the light rails for a few years now. Take the same amount of plants, spread them out, and the light gets down under the tops for nice size mid-buds. I have a raptor on it right now so im sure it will move a good deal of weight.

Ive also seen the light movers that spin like a helicopter. They have them at the grow shop but they move quite slow,(not the same as what your talking about) full rotation in 15-45 min.

The sony I have is nice, 16.4 mp, nice macro shots if you get all the settings just right. A tripod would make the macro shots awesome. Its a bit of a pain when there is 18+ different settings that all give a different picture tho, lol It took me like 3-4 hrs of reading the book, searching online different ways to set up for macro shots for mushroom myc. finally got it close and its been the same ever since, dont dare change it!! I try, and all the pics get blurry, unfocused, man there are just sooo many settings on the things now a days.

I like the old school lens, you twist it until its zoomed right in and actually like a microscope!! Probably looking over 4-5 hundred for a really nice one.

Ill have to put up some pics soon...... 12/12 today!!! see how its going to turn out for me??

hey cb, is this whats happened to your leaves? These first pics, this is the only blade on the entire plant like thisDSC00964.jpgDSC00965.jpgDSC00967.jpgDSC00970.jpg this plant is super vigorous, deep green color. Nothing in the way of deff. at all.

these next pics are the only plant out of 80 affected top to bottom. Just so happens its right next to the other plant with the same issueDSC00966.jpgstrange? Thought it was cal. deff. HA Ive overdosed about 3 times with cal and the blotches just keep coming??

and just some pics from this eve.DSC00968.jpgDSC00971.jpg cant wait to put up some pics of a room full of bud... sick of looking at bare branches..lol well not really, but want to harvest them yesterday!! autos are a drop in the bucket compared to those monsters!!

Yep, that's it. Still no idea what it is, it went away on most of my plants but is certainly still present. I talked to the colorado state plant diagnostic clinic(#1 in the state) and they were stumped too. I have one my resource who I plan to go visit, if he doesnt have the answer, well...may god be with us and our girls :/

I'm confident that he will at least have an idea though. But regardless, by bud still came out great ;)

Looking good though SIP

I'm dealing with the same exact shit only on my fan leaves tho.. But I just assumed I was doing something wrong for awhile, but I stopped nutes and only run Calimagic. Now it bugs me more because I'm not under/over watering nor do I have the lights to close..
Hope you get the answer CB.

Thanks man, good to know Im not the only one with the problem, and you have alot more resources to put to good use,, Who were the breeders of the "problem plants? Mine are (lost coast hash) hso i belive, and dutch passion, blueberry original. I cant really rule out a touch of micro deff, but wtf? the first plant only has 1/2 a blade out of 150-200 blades. and the second plant every leaf, tip curl to the left or right. Iv had tip curl up and down but to the side, deff something im not used to seeing in my room. This is the largest run ive ever done with 75% mystery phenos. Im in search of 5 good phenos to work into my breeding program. The lost coast hash was looking like a contender but If I see more blades like that, might have to see if clones will do the same. I love crossing!! my fav part of growing. I have a white russian strain thats been with me since 2003. keeps getting better and better, every cross and back cross I do.

Sweet motherload, Pits! That is some grow you have going on. You must be one of those 'type A' people (overachiever), lol.

It is good to see folks from around New England. I'm in Connecticut myself, but head up your way regularly to see friends and such. I'll have to follow your efforts-- I might just learn something.

thanks nite gazer!! good to hear a compliment every now and then, I appreciate it!! I deff have my work cut out for me. Its 8-14 hrs every day. Im lucky when I only have to work 8am-4pm lol. But the most important thing is I love what I do. Its very relaxing, calming, and tranquil in around my girls. (even tho my back hurts, I have sweat pouring off me and I dont have much time for anything else, lol). They say if you have a passion in your life, its like never working a day in your life..... very true.

I have been trimming for ever it seems, getting ready for an update a bit later this eve I hope. ....and yea, im still waiting for the motherload.

hows everyone doing? Good I hope. So I guess this is basically going to be an auto update. Most all of them are wrapping up. I have been cutting/trimming/drying steady.

these first pics are my own fem cross of super cheese X jet-47DSC00972.jpgDSC00973.jpgDSC00974.jpgDSC00975.jpgDSC00976.jpgDSC00977.jpgDSC00979.jpgDSC00980.jpgDSC00981.jpgDSC00982.jpg these are pics of the tanglo-rapidoDSC00985.jpgDSC00988.jpgDSC00991.jpg The nl X bb has turned out well, already harvested 1 already, this one is super covered in trichs, top to bottomDSC00993.jpgDSC00995.jpgDSC01008.jpg and 3 of the blue mammoth are going to be really good smoke, really fruity but not much color..:(DSC00998.jpgDSC00999.jpg and this last pic is the super cheese I got from attitude, really weird bud, hardly any hairs what so ever, just pistils, looks good tho!! DSC01005.jpg
and a group shot of the fem I just put into flower. I swear some of them are growing 2-3+ inches every day, they are getting huge!!DSC01001.jpg the ones in the far right hand corner are the same age as the rest. They are my stable white russian. Unfortunately i over fertilized one of them, but it right back in blast off mode. Most of the strains are starting to show the first few hairs at the very tops of the branches... just a waiting game now. I took 4-6 clones from every plant in the entire room and kept every one labled... what a pain in the ASS that was, lol it only took me 3 days!! But I will be able to pick my 3-5 special mothers that do the best and match them up with there clones and start to work on them.

I also have my male room set up with a 150hps. I selected 3 nice females and they are starting to cluster and should have male pollen in 2-3 weeks as well as 5 regular males im going to cross with the 3-5 selected fems during flower. I cant wait to start running them!!! hopefully by april I get them going!! hope every likes what they see!!

Love the updates! Always have so much, pics are gorgeous! Hopefully ill have some of my own soon.
Keep up the good work!
rep+:blsmoke:
your going to see what im seeing in a couple months!! lol... Ive cut almost all the tops off the autos. The bottoms always take longer on most plants anyway. Its really nice bud!! some is rock hard and heavy. other is a bit fluffy, light and not compact. I love the fruitty buds my self, if it smells like fruit I love everything about it!!

I'm curious why autos are a part of your grow and they aren't your whole grow. Most folks would either grow out regular or autos but not both. Why the mix?

well, good question!! #1 I had to shutdown my inside grow this summer and put everything outdoors. So after moving I had to re-start from 0. I ordered like 80 seeds from attitude. #2 the autos, I knew would be ready in 2 months. I have my own fem auto cross so I wanted to keep some autos in my grow. #3 I love variety as im sure you can tell!! As do all of my patients. Now I have some good size photo period plants, Im going to work on crossing/cloning them for this spring. I will keep working with the autos just because I have a good time maxing myself out!! For some reason, I work best under stress and a workload way over my head,,lol

The auto part will become a lot smaller and ill only do 10-15 at once, and I will keep crossing and selecting them. The main part of my grow is the photo plants.

I also like to put a bunch of autos out june 1st and they are ready the end of july. An early harvest is a good prelude to real harvest come oct.

Ah, that clears things up nicely, Pits. I've never run an auto, so I know like zip about them. Didn't even know they grew out so quickly, lol. I can see how that would be useful sometimes.

Its alot of work and was pretty expensive to get up and running, no cheep n easy way out for me, thats for sure. I had a slight ph problem right in the beginning, but its all in check now. I started most all of them between 11/01 and 11/27 The big autos are around 3 weeks old, and the small about 1 week old. The regular's are about 5 weeks old. I ended up with about 25 males (that are not in the pics)of deep purple, heavy duty fruity, white russian, and 6 wappa auto males from paradise seeds that were supposedly fem?? Im using roots organics grow and bloom, fox farm grow and bloom, bat shit and a few other special recipes ive come up with over the years.

They are coming right along. I have been putting a lot of time in as you can see. Some are going to be picky feeders, and some of the autos are growing almost 2" a day. the regulars are branching out nice. So many types to chose from here!! I love multi strain grows, my garden is always changing. It gets tricky with some strains but I feed them on an individual, as needed basis. I will finish the journal in the next post, hope you all enjoy!!
u working..!!

I still have some of the autos under my other lights making seeds. man, some strains take forever to make seeds. but Ive harvested about 18 oz from the autos so far. The sativa dom. blue mammoth and nl X bb are taking the longest to finish....DSC01029.jpgDSC01030.jpgDSC01036.jpg not the best pics.... just quick snapshots. cant upload the rest for some reason??
