I have some plants here that are about 6 feet tall.
Im going to be taking the buds off the top two feet of the plant, and was going to lower the lights down to the less mature buds for a week or two, and try to get the buds a little bigger.
Is this the right thing for me to do,, or should I take the buds off the top and regenerate the lower part of the plant plant..
How do I regenerate the plant,,, what is the process and procedures I need to do..
This is my secong grow, and I have 4 nice females I want to keep here by regenerating, and getting clones this time around.
Thanks for the help everyone..

Leave the bottom 1/3 or so and put it under 18 or 24 hour lighting.
Thanks for the reply,, it has only been a few minutes.
What do I do with the buds that are left on the bottom 3rd of the plant ?
Do I leave them on, and will they fall of or convert to new growth ?
Do I need to do any cutting or pruning ?
How long do I leave them under the 18/6 veg cycle before switching to 12/12 cycle..
Thanks for the help.

Leave the lower part of the plant intact - buds and all. Once vegging the buds will grow new shoots which the plant will then develop from. It is a fairly slow process but eventually you will have plenty of growth to use for clones. Then once you have swept it for clones and enough growth has come back throw it into flower.

Awsome,,
Thanks for the fast replies, and info..
Do you have an idea of how many weeks I will need to do the veg cycle ??
I have no idea,, Im guessing probably about 4 to 6 weeks,, or will it be faster than that ??
Is regenerating a good way to go ?
I totally suck at cloning, and have these plants here, and want to do whatever I can to keep growing these females I have allready established..
Thanks again,,, I really apppreciate the info and fast replies..

You can regenerate but the yield and quality of the bud will decrease.... supposedly. I have not regenerated a plant but may do it with one flowering now.

Here's my plants 2 months after switching from 12/12 to 24/0. When I first switched I had them under flourescents for like a month, now they are under a 400mh. They were sick in flower so that could be why it's taking them so long to bounce back.

Thanks for the reply.
Your plants look nice and green.
Can you keep me informed on how this goes for you ?
You can send me personal messages, and we can share whats happening with our plants together, and maybe help each other out a litle also.
Or we can keep replying to this post for all to see wich would be even better for everyone out there interested in trying this method..
Also, did you clip the tips of the buds that were left on there, or did you leave them to do there own thing ?
Thanks
