Wow. I have always avoided growing Mexican genetics because a lot of us old heads grew up smoking that shit because we had to. They did everything to ruin it. Cut early, FULL of seed, no cure whatsoever, compressed, (remember the beetles and lizards that would be crushed flat in the kilos?) yet every 5-6 years you might encounter something with no seed and actual flavor. I think I’m just traumatized from those years. I’m Mexican and I live close to the border. I’m gonna stop being racist against myself and try some ASAP. Thanks for keeping those genetics going, I’ve probably been missing the boat ever since I started growing. I just remembered that I did get a bag of Popocapetl Azulejo or Popo Blue so long ago and it was the best I ever smoked until some Hydro. It was deep green and had the greatest pine/juniper flavor and nothing ever could touch it until OG Kush.

Come on! Mexico has been the source of many of the most appreciated traditional strains. There is no way there isn't something good coming from there. The thing is that the traditional strains (pure sativas) are waaaay weaker than modern Dutch or American hybrids, and the weed was made and processed under bad conditions, so that made it even worse.

This strain I grow is something in the middle: maybe not as strong as modern hybrids, but resinous and psychoactive. And the same time they keep most of the original stimulating effect.

Really a experience everyone should have.

Sweet smokes
