Red root and curled Cotyledons - Normal?

Looking for help on if this looks normal or not?

They were planted on 11/26 and have been in temps of 70-80F, in a Humidity dome.

I removed the lid a couple times a day and spray it once each morning. As soon as I saw them sprout I turned on the grow like 25 inches away from the root of the seedling. They now look like this and I'm worried they are not doing well.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the dome.
Welcome to RIU.
They've only been in there for 3 days, would you still recommend removing it? Should I always remove dome as soon as I see sprout? Most of my research says after around a week but I want to do whats best for them.

While I agree with dome being mostly for clones, it depends on your setup and climate. I do use a dome as it traps the warmth in my cold room and prevents my mini rockwool cubes from drying out too fast, but, I do raise it a little so it’s not entirely closed.
