red leaves...?

as i was walking through my dads garden today i saw a patch of plants that look just like weed... they had all the characteristics but the stems of the leaves were red and the leaves had an outline of red... i dont know if they are but they have the look. is this a kind of weed or a plant problem or is it even weed. Ill try to get a picture tomorrow or something. thanks

Could have been blood weed. We had them in Texas. They look like like hemp, but they've got red stuff on the inside.

Edit: I was young, I don't know the real name of the plant. I just called it blood weed.

I've noticed that some posion ivy in my back yard looks like weed in first glance maybe this could be it?

noo idk what kind of plant it is but in marjuana the leaves are very much different then that in this plant the leaves are together to much
