alright guys. I have a guy who has always gotten me awesome full melt hash. he was supposed to get me more around halloween.... I finally got it 3 months later!

he brought 4 grams and wanted to trade... I asked for how much, he said 7 grams of bud with a smile (I could tell he was starting his price "high")... I didnt even hesitate to give him 7. I actually gave him 8 hoping that he would return!!! I would have given him 4 grams for 1 gram of hash, its that good. people buy it from me for 50$ and love it! I am begging him for more. he said he can get OZS of it!!!!!!!! last time he gave me 10 grams, but that was 6 months ago

























and, my new 100$ rip off oil piece is cracking.. not on the nail, but on the dome. possibly because I use a propane torch? I dont heat up that part though, weird. it still works perfectly fine so im not too worried. I am going to buy some cheap 20$ set ups off ebay and use them.









I also cleaned my downstem in my bong after smoking about 3 grams of oil off the nail, it clogged up the bong!!!! I let it dry for 3-4 days, then heated it up with the torch and let it drip down... got quite a bit. tested a hoot and its not that bad actually. crackles a little bit from the water though. what would you estimate the THC to be in something like this? I only smoke BHO out of my bong. all the resin is golden, no combustion. only nail.

You guys are a trip vacpurge! I think fadeddawg asked me what cannabinoids aren't dissolved by butane, I can't certainly answer that as I am completely missing analytical portion from my trade. But I doknow that flavanoids terpinods, and cannabinoids make up a complete spectrum, and you guys seem to really be into the flavanoids. I like em, but not by neglecting the terpinoids and cannabinoids

dont give a shit about your first post, im sticking with butane. but this one interest me a little more. I will look into the acetone thing as I plan on retiring this rig, and would like to take the nice golden resin with me.

1. how potent is honey oil resin? I would imagine, that if scrapped as is, it would be 100% purged?

2. is the acetone way able to smoke the oil afterwards? seems like it is, ive never heard of it, will look into it.

Honey oil from oil pipe reclaim is normally very potent, and makes a highly sedative med, suitable for evening sleep meds. Not much head, beyond a charlie horse between the ears with heavy dosage.

The flavor is typically smooth and hash like, as the lighter monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes are long gone.

I prefer to clean my pipe in boiling hot ethanol.

its on the way. ive got 100 grams saved and a few cans of butane waiting. going to make 20g of oil and vac purge the fuck out of it, and see how much weight it loses, and how much better it makes it. going to be interesting. 2 weeks till arrival of pump. 20 days till I got pics and a final product

so whats gonna be your process with the vac? i wanna hear all your ideas... i would honestly start off with just 1 tube, just do 1 tubes worth at a time, you'll get good practice in.. if you do all your material at once, you have no more to practice with ! that was my downfall, doing it all at once, then i would have to wait till more came into my hands.. Nowadays, i tend to do test runs on very good precious material.. i hate when i fuck up everything...

yeah I dont use acetone... I find heat works just fine for re claiming all that resin oil.

I use london/colibri butane... might switch to ronson though for same price. or nibo for 40% of the price (2.50 vs 6$)

my tube is a small, plastic honey bee extractor made for oil. it holds around 25 grams. I also got the "queen bee" but would rather use the small one 3x than the big one once. (funny story... I remember when I was 15 or so and first heard briefly of honey oil. we wanted to make it, and knew we needed a "honey bee" extractor, but had NO fuckin idea what it was, or what it looked like, or how to make oil for that matter. we were cruising down a back gravel road in the forestry mountains one day all stoned and bored and seen a sign that someone had a bee farm. so my buddy RJ went and asked this guy if he had any "honey bee extractors" for sale... the beekeeper was so fuckin confused. it didnt help that RJ wasnt being honest about what were using it for. lmao!!!! good times hahahaha. young and dumb.. that was embarrassing)

that shake is now near 3 months old. its pretty small right now, but I throw it in the grinder for a quick second to powderize it further

Guizias. you make a very good point. I am not sure if I have the time nowadays to be practicing and fooling around with it as much as I want. you do make a very good point... practicing and trying 3 different 30 gram (6 g of oil) runs vs one big 100 gram (20 grams of oil) run.

my plan was: grind all 90~ grams that I got... fill the extractor up with 30 grams. and run 3 cans through it. cook off 75% of the butane. re fill extractor, run 3 more cans into the dish of the last runs butane (not onto purged oil though... keep it butane form and dont cook it all off till youre done) ... cook off 75% of the butane in the dish. by this point I would imagine its a very very dark, thick sludge then I will spray the remaining 30 grams into it leaving one hell of a potent mix in my dish. it will be approx 3-4 cans of butane with 20g of oil in it!!! cook it off and have one hell of a gooey dish. the reason I do this is because my dish cant hold 10 cans of butane... plus thats a lot to boil off IMO and when I cook it off, it bubbles and foams and would foam over the top of the dish with 10 cans.

then ill put the oil into parchment paper.. get it to sit nice and flat against the SS desiccators bottom.. then I will somehow heat the desiccator at around 120f and put a therometer in it and pull a 29" vacuum on it for 24 hour and go from there....

and just to clarify/prove something to myself... I dont think ill get quite 20g as ive been mentioning as I dont have quite 100g. I have gotten very good at making BHO out of this shake as its all ive used for the last year so I can pretty much tell exctly what im gonna get, and exactly how much out of my 20g runs.. I seem to get very close to 18% return every time. with that being said, I am going to try to guess right now and say I am going to get 16g out of this 90~ grams of weed. I hope I dont lost more than 1g of weight from purging it. I also hope that pump I bought isint a complete POS


come to think of it... my desiccator is SS... if it wasnt so hard to scrape, I would spray the BHO right into the desiccator!!!!!

and instead of starting off at 120 deg, try 100 or 110... man oo man, you are in store for some fun.. and you gonna need to find some time to learn this!

it is possible to spray right right into your desiccator, but i would say dont.. your gonna have to clean it thoroughly after every time you do that... i spray right onto parchment for that reason, i hate blades and cleaning!

do you have an electric stove? or electric skillet/griddle?

those work well to be your heat source..

I was hoping someone would correct me on that as 120 was a guess lol. just to confirm... were talking farenheit right?? im from canada... and when we say 120 we mean celcuis, which would be quite a bit over waters boiling point (100C). I assume you guys mean half that temperature as water boiling temp is 212F and youre saying 100 or 110F???

spray onto parchment paper??? how the hell does that work. I am getting sick of blades too. I am good with it and can avoid the mess, but its just getting old.

I do have an electric grille thing. you would recommend turning that on and letting it sit for 24 hours unattended?
