Yes, looks like I made a good choice for my seed selection! I have a RD growing outdoors now, started from seed about a month ago. Do they take well to topping? Thanks guys, I hope mine turn out as well as yours.
I grew a Red Dragon around a year ago. 2 of them. One of them was more big cola dominate and spidermites devoured it to the point that the weed wasn't salvagable and it seemed to rot on the stem. The other was beautiful with big arms and a nice big top cola and smelled exactly like guava juice (Which I grew up drinking as common as most people do milk). It smelled fantastic, however the high, although very potent and long lasting (2-3 hours) on its own was missing something, comfort and euphoria. It tasted and smelled great, the one that grew well grew very very well and it was a beautiful plant. But the high for me lacked something and I can't put my finger on it. HOWEVER when I would do half of it in a bowl with half of another strain which I liked, it absolutely enhanced every other high. but the high seemed to be in a part of the brain for me which didn't do anything fullfilling despite its potency, lasting time, and great smell/taste. I've found my tastes are very rare compared to others, so for most people I can see how this strain could be an absolute winner. For me it was like the high was too much background noise. It was all in the head, and it wasn't speedy or hallucinagenic, it was just like you could definetly feel it but it didnt' do anything stoney, euhporic, or trippy to me it just kinda hung there like one back area of your brain just kinda calmed down. It was nice, i've had stuff that were terrible, it just didn't feel special or satisfying to me.
however i'm sure most people would love it.
