recommendations on best nutrient regardless of the money.

I am going to finally grow a non organic soil medium MJ plant. For years I have been basically using gallon size GH Go Box. I am looking to do one plant with the best nutes money can buy regardless of what crap is in it. I am going to give it it's own 4'x4' by 10 feet high room "Two pieces of osb with a 2 foot strip at the top, built into a corner of my existing grow room" , and 2x 600 watt lights. I have a shit load of mirrors from an estate sale and I am going to line that whole room floor and all with them. I am going to grow an Agent Orange plant in a 55 gallon plastic food grade barrel.

I want to grow minimum of 1 pound off one plant is my goal. "Gonna try and buy another ATV"

I am willing to try anything short of Uranium "yes you can buy it on Amazon".

Thanks!

Actually, you might want to ditch on the mirrors bro. What mirrors do is absorb light more so than they reflect it. When I first started growing I had the same idea and somebody corrected me on that one right away so out went the mirrors.
With 2 600 watts you should be in a nice place for light for sure.
I'm no expert on nutes ( or anything else :) ) I use lower end Dynagrow and I like it.
If cost were no object I'd like to run the AN line myself just once to see if it really does make a noticeable difference as their fans claim it does.
Lots of differing opinions will arise on that topic.
Good luck with all that man .

For hydro, the best is to just buy all the salts you need and plug a recipe into hydrobuddy.

Edit: I guess if it's just for one plant, getting any hydroponic based nutrient will work just fine. They're all the same thing in different ratios.

no mirrors, flat, ceiling white paint will work much better. agree using Dynagrow. personally, $$ don't necessarily equate to "best". read some of the threads by Uncle Ben. Good Luck and post some pics when you get there:)

Why don't u use perlite and rockwool then instead of soil....

I could, it's still an option. I just have 2 other grow rooms and then this one, so soil is in abundance. Would rockwool increase my size and yields? Only time I have ever used it was for cloning.

And I will scrap the mirror idea. Anyone need 50+ mirrors for their home?

Will Primer have the same effect as flat ceiling paint? I have about 15 gallons of killz primer in my garage.

I am attracted to the Advanced Nutrient line "Probably because I am stoned, and they have flashy containers lol", but cant decide on what to get. Anyone have any suggestions?

definitely dont use mirrors. paint the walls plain white. this is second best next to mylar and will give you 90-95% light reflection(could be off by a few % here..)
as for nutritions it is ahrd to say what is best.. i used mostly organic based ferts but among the syntetic ones i tried i liked gold label best and Hesi close second. The reason why i thought gold label was better i because they have less parts(meaning the few bottles you buy will contain more for the buck) and mainly because its very well concetrated and last around twice as long as any other fert i ever had.

Good luck with your project!

don't get lured in by all the fancy "lights and sirens" some mfg's need to put on their labels.

I'm a HUGE fan of dg personally.

never tried it in dirt though. I know homebrewer has.

This one is easy, you want to spend some money and also get good results?
AN all the way!
Get the entire lineup! even though you only need base, big bud, bud candy and b52.
Scrap the 55 gallon drum idea and grab a 110 liter or so igloo cooler and cut a hole in the top to fit a netpot.
I'd make it one of those with a lid on the end so you can do maintenance on it a easier (change it out, toss in a huge ice cube when it gets too warm, shit like that)

seems to me that killz is a semi gloss type of paint? it'll work, although not as efficient in reflection of light. flat, bright, ceiling white!

Yeah I bought Ace Flat ceiling white today. The primer seemed to absorb most of the light.
The ceiling paint was the best I have seen so far.

The whole time I was painting I was laughing about that scene from Trailer Park Boys where he coats the whole inside of his trailor with aluminum foil. haha
