Recommend me a high quality potentiometer

I have a diy 480w fixture that I coupled with a rapid led potentiometer, about a year and a half old now. Noticed the fixture was flickering the other day. Today I plugged it into my kill a watt and I’ve only been flowering at 240ish w, disconnected the pot and I’m back in action at 480w. Can anyone recommend a high quality replacement pot?

While I admit this post is noise, I am giggling because it is an appropriate question to ask on what is after all a pot site.

I started a thread about this awhile back. I have same problem with them after they have been used for awhile. I havent found an alternative, i ordered 4 more today. Im just going to replace often until i find something else.

That was my first thought, just get a couple more. I originally chose the rapid led ones as they seemed ok in comparison to the no name ones I found. Still interested in finding better quality if anyone has any suggestions.

not exactly the amswer youre looking for but why not checkout digikey for linear 100k potentiometers.
you prob find quite some options there even fiting the case of your rapid led dimmer.
pricing is from a few cent up to real money, quality should be the same range, while of course its questionable to spend real money on a light dimmer.
in the middle ground there will be some long lasting stuff i guess.

Buy a couple so you have a spare. ;-)

Some people have reported the same issue with the part from Rapid LED. It's actuality a 0-10V dimmer, but it's compatible with Meanwell's 3 in 1 dimming.
