I dont read alot of books.......have a 9th grade educationi due to haveing raise a family when my dad died...........but I think I have intelligence enough not to live a dislutioinal life and enjoy what time I have here.......cause once your dead thats it..........some say well what does it hurt to say you accept jesus as your savior......there again its delutional............hedgeiing your bets dont count............There is no god and I wont go to a pizza oven for eternity.....thats the best way I can say it.......Im ready for the bashing due to my gramar but I hope my ideas did come through a bit so you can see how I see it. Thank you all in here cause Im enjoying the reading.

Book knowledge and grammar are not the defining characteristics of intelligence. It is obvious that you think for yourself and use reason and skepticism to form your worldview. If that's not intelligence, it is at the very least wisdom and you do a good job of displaying it here. As Carl Sagan would say, you have a well established baloney detection kit. Except your avatar freaks me out! Who is that?

hahaha yea my avatar freaks everyone out. well I found this on the web in one of those funny pic type deals. I took one look and said YES.........Im a viet Nam vet so that tells ya IM OLD back in the 60s and early 70s there was a comix out called the FABULOUS FURRY FREAK BROTHERS....hippy shit...........and one brother...my hero....Was named Fat Freddy.......never in my life would I of thought of meeting a real live freddy.....you tell me.

How is it disingenuous to compare God with Santa?

I am an agnostic atheist. I believe no gods exist, but I can't be 100% certain, as nobody can know anything with absolute certainty, which brought me to that clip I posted.

I am reasonably certain no gods exist, certain enough to bet my life and all the money I've ever earned on it. Does that sound like a position of faith to you?

I've already demonstrated with thought experiments how it's impossible for a god, as described by every major organized religion, to exist. It doesn't make sense.

Ok right there Padawa.....when we talk of GOD who's God are we refering to....the Christian God...........Hebrew God....who........who ever is trying to prove there is a god assumes its thier god we are talking about..........Hell I was talking about if THors hammer was as cool as they say it was........So If I say ahhh you mean thor...they get pissed off.........shrug............just talking out a stoner moment but I think its valid point just not able to put it into words as well as I see it in my head.

And dont get me started on finding gold plates in a field...read em.. translate them and angels come down and take the gold tablets to another planet to be safe.......5.9 billioin ppl in the world know the mormons are crack pots with that story.....but if we say something about christians then they turn on me just as they turned on the mormons............pathtic...........
