REALLY QUICK, 2 small questions

Hi everyone thanks for the help on my grow. I have two quick questions for anyone that can further help me.

1. Is there any benefit to emergency flushing over regular soil flushing and what would happen if I just did both?

2. My plants are a month into flowering and there are some little tiny buds at the bottom I want to just cut off. Can I just trim them off or is it to late and it would hurt my yield?

Hey BB IMO i think u should flush according to the nutes u use, if u use alot often i would flush every few weeks or so. and no u should not mess with those buds, give them time to do their thing she is too far into flowering to b stressed even a little bit plus those pre-mature buds wont do anything for u

If he cuts them off and throws them away - the energy the plant gains will be put into the higher buds. this is fact.Peace.

thats tru, but it seems like hes looking more towards a higher yeild than the most potent bud, it can still be highly potent and stiil have a great yeild

The yeild will be the same - depending on height of these plants , the lower buds recieve minimal light , the Energy is better used towards the canopy of the plant.

Theres no tellin how much light the lower branches get. plus wats the point of doing it now it has already formed. no stress is needed and wat difference will leaving a few smalls bud on there make, other than him having more herb

So then jus inform us on how much of a potency decrease there will be. ur makin seem as though if he leaves those nugs on there then his possible high grade will become som mids. i mean come on now i could see if he was using SCOG and u were informing him to lollipop. but this really makes no difference EXCEPT for the fact he will have MORE BUD

lol well thanks for all the input you guys. So for flushing I just give each plant water thats twice the size of the pot its in. can you just feed it all the water in one day or is it better to spread it out over like 3 days?

and yeah I agree with both of you. I know if I cut the lower buds it will increase potency to the top ones, but I'm not sure if I should cause there a month into flowering already and got like 2 months left. Ive never cut the

lower buds at this stage of growth before...oh and Cheeba Im using molasses, some foxfarm tigerbloom, and mendicino county products like gravity, snowstorm, and bushmaster. Two of them are small...one is like 14in and the other is 12in and my third one is 24in and doin good

I dont know about the flush part, does your plant show any defs yet ? I will flush when its come to defs...about the cut off the leaves of bottom, I will trim in the low of leaves that sickly , weakling, and sometimes i do the clones too in the veg stage but since your plant is into a flowering stage now...why not to leave em alone for now till you re harvest...just dont cut the lower buds and leaves if you want to do re veg it will be fun too. Its all up to you, bro. happy growing

in hydro, i flush once a week, in soil (when i use chem nutes) i flush bi-weekly, i just water until it drains out the bottom, then let the water level drop, then do it again and i have never had any problems.

as for trimming, lower branches usually recieve less light because they are blocked by bigger branches, some people will trim small underdeveloped buds at the bottom of the plant to allow the plant to use its energy and nutrients by focusing more on the main branches, this doesnt increase potency (tho light blocked buds do produce less trichomes) but instead makes the top buds a little bigger, this is preferable because the top buds will be denser and have more trichs. this is general and not true with every strain, especially if there is no wasted light and it reaches every branch.
