Really light green lower buds

Buds at the top look right. But on the lower stuff, I've never seen buds so light green. First time using quantum boards, so maybe it's just a penetration thing. Checked the trichomes and they seem to be developing at about the same rate as the rest of the plant. The pictures dont really convey what I'm seeing. They almost make the buds look normal. Some buds are so light green that they almost look yellow/white. Is this anything to be concerned with? Planning to chop in about 2 weeks

im in the middle of switching myself.... ANY input is welcome. Thanks. I'd like to call myself well rounded in the grow game but im a noob in leds.
Well I can say I'm 100% impressed with the results, just having to learn as i go. Thought I had my plants spread out enough for decent penetration, but I guess side lighting might come into play here. Switched because I've always struggled with high temps with HPS, only to find with leds i need to run warmer temps... I've learned a lot with this grow. Also my first time using coco

"Penetration" is another ballgame. The answer to that is to lollipop more. Or as you already said. you can add side lighting. I love moving a leaf to the side to see a big ass lime green bud under it. I'll fold that leaf to the side and after a day or two of the little guy getting direct light , it becomes the same color as the rest.
Ultimately our goal is to remove everything not getting the direct light so we only have tops to trim.
What temps do you consider too hot for leds? Thanks

I haven't seen over 86 since I've switched, and we've been having some real hot days. I really shy away from defoliation, but may need to consider it for next round. This plant really has a lot of leaves, so tucking really doesnt work. I should have lollipoped more but I was worried about going to far. This was my first run with this strain so I wasn't sure about the stretch. Turns out there wasn't a ton of upward stretch. But the whole plant quadrupled in size lol... next run will be solid, I can see it now haha

I bought some cheap 4ft led work lights from Walmart for $17 a piece. Going to give them a shot. Only 35w so I dont imagine they'll be to powerful for the distance. I really dont like cfls because of their toxicity and now they're quite a bit more expensive than when I tried them last haha. Gotta save the earth, and dollars haha

Haha, ya mine is an old CFL i used to use before upgrading to LED. It was laying around so figured might as well throw it in as well. I'll use it till it dies but would replace it with a corn cob LED now I think.

I think you should continue to shy away from defol. The reason you been shying away from it is probably the same as mine. Why take the solar panels off the plant? Defoling is a great thing to do with overgrown moms, slowing down upward growth, ect..... but removing them in flower is not smart imo.
