Really Could Use Advice ASAP - Leaving Town

Hey all, not trying to panic but just got informed I need tomorrow morning for a a family emergency. I will have to be gone from tomorrow morning until late Monday night. I have 4 girls in flower right now, and 18 in veg. I don't have any type of automated watering system, and they are growing in a soil mix as their medium. Flower is running under 600w HPS and veg are running under numerous T8's. The plants needed to be watered today so took care of that. Not overly concerned bout veg as they only have been needing water ever 5-7 days or so. My concern falls more with girls that are flower! Any advice would be greatly appreciate.

Haven't researched ideas yet as I wanted to get this posted ASAP, but going to be doing some homework right now as well to try and find a solution.

Get someone you trust to water them while you are gone.

You can probably get away with overwatering and leaving them. I'd be more worried about fires and unattended lights.

Not that I was trying to overlook that worry, but I was trying to not panic over that as well. Very true concern, but I feel it is always a concern whether I'm here or not. Between my other half and myself we are only basically home for a couple hours a day other then to sleep, so its always a concern.

Only people I 100% trust to do exactly as I need done and not say a word will be at the family emergency as well, tried that first. The only other person I would 100% trust to keep there mouth shut, is someone who thinks he knows "everything" about growing and there would be a 99.9% chance that'd he'd try one of his little experiments, rather then simply water.

Ive done this last min if someone I trust cant check up 4 days isn't horrible especially with soil. My buddy didnt get a chance to refill his rez for his hydro and his strongest plants survived by absorbing his weekest plant's moisture. Shit was fried the others were pretty fucked but they was smokable

Also i seen this chick on youtube she called it a self watering plant dispenser i was thinking of doing that for vacay, never tried it personally so let me know if you try it and it works

I mean their 2-3 weeks into flower, so I was wondering how bad over watering would be at this point. All the strains, according to breeder statements, are at least like 8 week flower. Thus I'm assuming they will all take at least 9 weeks if not longer. How bad would over watering at this point in flower be? I mean so far they seem very healthy, but don't want to over stress the plants either and cause major issues.

I dont know what gear you are running but 2ish weeks into flower on a 8ish week plant it will have more than enough time if recovery is needed but again 4 days really isnt horrible. I know its not ideal but soil is forgiving in that way. And i wouldn't drown them but if you find they only need water every two days at this point give them same amont plus half when you get back "make it rain" shout out to riddlem3. Basically ph your water down below 5.8 to feed its basically making the water/nutes available almost immediately because cannabis enjoys slightly acidic environment. I have gone ph as low as 5.4

Yeah, I by no means intend to drown them. Just was thinking normal water plus 1/4 to 1/2 extra. I got Heavyweight Seeds - 2Fast 2Vast Auto (freebie just decided I'd throw it in the mix), Dream Machine, and Lemon Cake as well as Dr. Krippling's Incredible Bulk. Part of me feels I'm worrying more so because I'm a first time grow and things seem to be going so well I just don't want 4 days to mess it all to hell.

Haha 4 days you good homie you wont fuck it up. Trust me we've all had last minute shit pop up and still pulled great plants. Plus as a first grow its a learning experience. This situation will also help you learn to read the plants when you get back. Let me know how that Dr. Krippling is Ive seen some really dope phenos from his gear. Good luck.
