Hey People,

Its my first grow, and lets jus say expense was spared, v.basic setup, in a tent 1 light 100w cfl got tin foil wrapped everywhere around the plant ( heat isnt an issue infact the tin foil works in my favour) soil is good, on 18/6 light cycle, got bio grow by bio bizz nutes, its 4.5 weeks in veg, its been a slow grow compared to others plants ive seen on here, but its healthy and green, its really bushy there is minimal space between nodes and the leaves are all touching eachother it seems to me from seeing other peoples plant that this is too bushy and too close. the reason im guessing this has happend is because ive had the light too close, i corrected this and raised the light but seems not to made much difference,

question is,, is this a bad thing having it realy bushy, will it effect flowering in any way i.e less yeild ect.

nope your good to go. your light should be 2 inches off the top of the plant exchange the tinfoil for reflective white paint

bro, u want bushy, trust me, u dont want a tall stretched plant, that just means its really healthy, ur doin a good job so keep it up, id say move the light back to where it was and even add another just to help.

oh ya! i forgot to tell u about that tin foil, u want some mylar or flat white paint so u dont get heat spots, that tin foil acts as a magnifier and could cause some pretty nasty lookin burns on the leaves. i got a space blanket from wally world and it was like 3 dolla, its a good size too.

bushy is really good if you have height problems and what not or just want to keep it nice short and fat. Before mine hermi'd I did alot of LST you can see in my sig...that thing was 9'' tall when i got it tho but since you are starting from seedling up (im thinking you are) then try some lst, especially with cfl lights. Other then that sounds like you know what ur doing. Someone mentioned white paint instead of tin foil, tinfoil is fine (white for some reason is "more reflective", but its whatever) since cfls dont produce heat like a hps. I can wrap my hand around my 150watt cfl, can hps growers do that lol? Good shit man keep it up. Really look into LST

here it is

Edit: Not sig but avitar, use to be in my sig.

Yer ive started from seedling, yer im gonna stick with the tin foil its working fine for me, but it is rather short for a 4.5 weeker, i think i will invest in another light that will be tomrows job gotta find a splitter sumwhere, cheers for the input
