Ready to Harvest?

are these ready for harvest yet....? it looks like half of the hairs are turning brownish but they are still long and white in a lot of spots...what should i do?

also i am using FFOF soil and FoxFarm nutrients including solubles. On the schedule it says nothing about flushing, should i flush? if so when?

I wouldn't say they are ready man. The hairs may be red in some spots but my 4 week old flowering plants have red hairs showing and they are only 4 weeks into flowering. The only real way to tell is to check your trichomes.

i dont have a microscope or anything, anyone tell me a cheap way of checking the trichomes? also i could use all the advice possible on when these might be or if they are close to being done!

Looks like another 2-3 weeks. You'll see all the trichs start to turn a hue of amber then you'll know it's done.:weed:

Nice solarguy. My guess is that you have 2 or 3 more weeks till your pretty girls are finished. Her calyxes will swell a bit more and a coating of resin glands will make the "mature plant glisten as if dusted with fine cannabis diamonds". The trichomes will turn almost an amber color at completion and about 80% -90% of the pistils will turn red. Best of Luck, your girls are going to be sweet!

If I had waited for my trichomes to turn amber, the plants would still be taking up room in my tent. If you run into this and have to make room for more plants coming into flower, set the timer for only 10 hours of daylight. The plant will ripen much faster. This is a great trick for those that like amber trichs.... doing so my decrease yield.
