Ready To Harvest??

Folks, I have a volunteer I've been growing and it's looking good! Are these center main branches ready to harvest? I've been reading about trichomes but don't have a magnfier to look closly at them.

This plant took off, and then we had 90* + temps which seemed to stunt it and as you see it's staying pretty small for a pot plant. Now there are side branches taking off, starting to flower, but the center stalks are thick with buds. Should I harvest those center stalks now? Their herbal smell isn't as strong as it was a week ago.

That is not a finished flower product. Are you in San Diego? To me it looks like you've had your plants outdoors during flowering hours but as daylight is getting longer in a 24hr period its now vegging time and your plants appear to have stopped flowering.

Right on Cali! Yes I'm 10 miles inland from SD. The center part is what I'm asking about, about three or four stalks, the part that was heat shocked. It's thick with buds. Can you save that pic and zoom in to check it?

yes the side stalks have really taken off after that heat, but they are showing some flowers starting.

The center stalks that appear to have been flowering have not finished flowering and repining for smoke. and since the hours of light are getting longer those flowers will not continue to mature. You can smoke it but you wont get any high off it. Cull the flowering center so you dont have mold issues later and let the plant veg into the season and she'll flower in aug-sept with care

So Cali, just let the center stalks continue flowering in hopes they will mature?
north of you in la county. Yes. Your plant will reveg. Grow out and re flower around August. I don’t let my flowers get that chunky when I place em to early. I cut ‘em off as they grow until I get my veg structure back.

OK folks, the center stalks weren't good at all so I cut them off.

Now the two side stalks have taken off but they're like little bushes!

I have been trimming the lower branches that are shaded, but should I cut this back to just a few main leads on both sides, or just let it continue?

Dude you’re in like 15 hours of daylight right now I don’t think any flowering is going on. Reveg maybe 4F95B39D-B22E-483C-9D26-E1D014AC2488.jpeg

Yes I cut the original center flowering stalks off over a month ago and now it's bushing out. I've never seen bushy pot plants like this one is now, so should I thin it out some? Maybe just leave a few main stalks either side or just let it continue?
