Ready to flip?

Hey everyone this is my first grow and I was wondering what you all thought in regards to whether or not I should flip these some time soon based on their height and the amount of space I have left to raise the light.
They’re northern lights so mostly Indica but I read somewhere that they can double in height during flower so I feel like I should force flowering sometime soon. What do you think based on the pic? I appreciate it! 934C7B3B-104C-4748-8018-75F690281FEB.jpeg

Flatten the canopy a little more with LST - let the lower and mid area branching get some vertical growth then flip.
Training plants thruout grow stages will control the height. If you keep control your space should be fine.

You want to break the “ tree shape “ . You can also top them for more canopy tops too.

Totally correctable grow. Looks good btw

thanks! I topped them a little over a week ago. I also have the lowest branching tied out to get them to grow up, so maybe just wait for them to shoot up more? I should still be looking at flipping them within the next couple weeks though?

Yes let them work thru training then when she looks ready to go ….. flip them. Keep adjusting as necessary / careful of splitting stems with too much force.
‘Once you get that flat top , you can do a simple bottom cleanup and let them do their thing.

Had one of our F5's not started dropping packets causing me to drop everything to check it out, that was where I was headed as well. Large flatter canopies are your friend.

Grow them laterally/horizontally before you flip and you can triple the number of quality tops.

I'd also like to endorse this. I just finished with my first grow, so I'm new to this still. But tipping the top down helped a ton to get light evenly spaced throughout. I didn't know to support the bases first, so I literally just pushed my plant over, lol. It worked but ended up being harder to water bc it was so close to the dirt. But everything reorient itself and starts facing upward to the lights. It'll even out the canopy too. When you get branches reaching higher than others you can tie them down. Good luck if you try it. Your plants look great.
