You can root cuttings w/straight tap water but reverse osmosis is the best while maintaining a consistent 80-85 temperature range. I've had the best luck and greatest results with an aeroponic cloner and will make that recommendation everyday of the year. If you're going to try cloning in soil, use a soil that has a neutral PH and mix 20% pumice to your soil for some added air then ensure your soil is kept moist at all times. Not drowning but slightly damp. Within a week or 2 under 24/7 fluorescent lighting, you should have roots and be ready for transplant.

didnt intend on not responding..shit happens. thanks for the advice. not in the position on running an RO due to water meter, not able to due the 3:1 ratio of water lost but agree on its quality. going to use a air stone to decant off Cl in tap water. clones were already rooted and i have them under a 4 x 4 T5..looking for some advice on neuts for these girls..any thoughts on worm caseings? blood meal?
