Ready for harvest?

So I am a complete NEWB and don't even really know how I got in to growing this year.
So I have... a lot of questions.
First off, I'm posting some pictures because I have no idea when I'm supposed to harvest, it sort of looks like I missed the boat because of how brown the leaves are. Is it really bad that this happened?
Secondly, if theyy are ready to harvest where do I even begin? I'm sure this has been answered somewhere in here already so if you don't want to post could you send me a link? (I'm even a newb with this forum )
Thanks for your help!

P.S. Sorry about the shitty quality of the photos... I'm hopeless.

Well you've come this far...don't give up now. The brown leaves have nothing to do with you being late. That's a total nutrient problem. I'd just give her LOTS of straight water from here on out and harvest in about a week or so. Depends on the trichome colors. See my recent post about when she's ready.

Probably should just harvest in a week or so. In the mean time, give them pure water. After that, harvest, dry and cure...

Clip off each branch.

Remove the fan leaves and discard.

Trim off the smaller leaves around the buds and save them. They have quite a bit if THC on em. You can either dry em and smoke em like shake... or you can make hash with em.

Now you should have buds left on the stems. Hang them upside down in a cool dark place with good ventilation.

Once they have dried on the outside, place them in something air tight (like jars or baggies). Open each jar/baggie once a day and let the get some fresh air. Leave them in this state for a couple of weeks or until they are evenly cured. They will be a bit more moist on the outside than they were when you first moved them to air tight jars/baggies.

^^gotta have some silk screen for dry method or some bubble bags for ice method, or some butane for honey oil, or ISO alcohol for a quick wash oil.
