Hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like they could use a couple more weeks if you can. How humid is it getting?

Thanks for the replies guys! My good loupe broke so I’m using a amazon digital one and cant seem to get a good shot for you guys, I’ll try again tommorow.

Step one! DON"T EVER JUDGE RIPENESS OFF THE LEAVES!

step 2 get some pictures of the whole buds, until the buds start ripening there is no point in looking at trichomes.
do the leaf trichs start ripening faster then the calyx? I took some shots of the buds through my grow glasses (hps). I’m pretty noob grower but I thought they were starting to ripen let me know what you think! I started to flush about a week ago I’m growing in promix hp with GH trio +boosters. The leaves are real yellow on the Hindu....the dark green leaf/ chunky bud is northern lights I think she’s about a week behind the rest.

Edit: forgot to add my humidity is between 50-60....it’s been getting hot here and that’s the lowest I been able to keep it down.

Leaf trichomes can mature faster and or be damaged because they are more exposed to the light and environment around them.

The second and third actually looks pretty decent, seems like I see some swelling bracts in there. Maybe 5-7 days on that one. The other plant in the last picture looks like 3ish weeks still, there seems to be lots of fresh stigma growth, which means the plant is still growing more bud for you.

Yes leaf trichs are unreliable. You need to look at the trichs on the buds if your looking at the trichs. But like Thundercat said the overall bud structure tells a lot. They really fatten up at the end, I was surprised.

Hey Thundercat. I was typing at the same time as you, funny. Also Northern Lights is supposed to mature pretty fast I've heard. Looking good though.

Awesome! Was planning to cut the Hindus next Monday so that’s good news.... I’m going to let the northern lights go 2-3 weeks extra, your right still lots of white hairs. still don’t know if I should break the flush tho as they all have been drinking phed water for a week now. Do you think the bottom plant (NL) will benefit from a bloom feed this late?

See my problem was the NL was a month younger then the Hindu at flip so I guess she still needed some time to mature before budding.

Respects for the help !
