Ready for 2nd light yet

I’m 2 weeks into vegging my gorilla glue #4 and runtz (gelato x skittles)

There gettin on quite well as u can see in pic but I’ve had issues with heat as u can see on the leaves.

There under a 600 watt hps and I have another 600 watt hps not being used. If I was to put the 2nd hps in my tent now and increase distance my heat issues should stop right??

The light I’d say is half a metre above the plants but I thought a second light might help em grow faster aswell.

Indeed it would. If you could adequately control the heat. Suggest staying the course and then upgrading your light to a real LED or a 1000 watt HID. Also recommend an air cooled reflector.

How are they turning out?
How did u happen to get your runtz seeds?

The runtz was a clone, they are doing ok the gg is frosty as fuck n the 2 runtz I’ve had to tie up because the buds are getting too heavy, I just made another post if you got any advice on it it’s in newbie central and there’s 2 pics of the gg on the new thread aswell.
