if i were to harvest the top 2/3 of a plant will it survive?

when will it start vegging again? would i get a bigger yield?

or should i just forget about this idea

Great Question! Yes you can harvest 2/3 of the plant and re-veg it. BUT if it were me, I'd harvest the best 2/3 and clone the piss out of the rest of the bottom branches. I only say this because re-veggin a plant is extremely stressful and could push it to turn Hermi on you. But if you had 10 or so clones you might get lucky and have a couple that don't turn Hermi and you can keep your great strain going. but re-veggin a plant is a time consuming process. Whatever route you choose to take, the plant or the clones need to be put under 24hrs of light and this could take a month maybe two before your plant takes to the new light cycle and vegging process. Your second harvest will not be as big as your first. But if you successfully re-veg some clones, you could end up with a couple plants that could yield the same or better as your original plant..
