I don't quite understand how you plan on filling 50 15 gallon bags with already used soil. Your best off just ordering a truck load, that might be difficult if you're guerilla growing. Personally I transported 60 gallons worth of soil to my grow spot, but that's only for 4 plants. If you don't really give a shit and aren't concerned with disease problems then maybe you should just recycle the other crap. In truth that would be the cheapest way to get them started, if you didn't have enough money, but then again your growing 50 plants and you would need at least a few hundred dollars to grow some chronic. I'm in norcal as well got some Arjan's Haze #1, The church(2), Mango, Rocklock, and Sharksbreath. happy growing

I also got Kellogs patio, there are like 10 different kinds, the patio plus might be a good one, mine personally was the red bag and it had like a ton of sticks and wood in it, which doesnt seem to great to me, bud i used some other potting soil, vermiculite worm castings, and my own home made compost from my back yard. Like you said, you're growing 50 plants, and you're going to spend a ridiculous amount at a nursery, it makes no sense why you wouldn't just get a truck load delivered or 2, your looking at 250-500 gallons of soil

shit 50 bags of fox farms is like 500 bucks lol?
50 x 15 gallons = 750 gallons / .1137 = 100 cubic feet. Fox Farms Ocean Forest is in 1.5CF bags, so 67 bags @$14/bag = $914.

Fox Farms is an aggressively marketed label important fad potting soil. There are many, many regional brand potting soils with virtually the same or similar acting components for half the price.

In my 25 gallon Smart Pots I use 25% Gardner & Bloome Potting soil (by Kellogg), which is fir bark, forest humus, peat moss, perlite, chicken manure, worm castings, bat guano, kelp meal, alfalfa meal, oyster shell and dolomite lime ($7.49/2cf), 25% perlite ($17/4cf), 25% peat moss ($12/3.8 compressed cubic feet, 25% decomposed cow manure ($15 for a pickup load). Each of my 25 gallon containers holds 3.34cf for a cost of $11.72 to fill each container. And I don't use Fox Farms very pricey, mostly chemical nutrients.

15 gallon containers filled with that grow medium would cost you ~$7/container or $350 for 50 containers.
