Re-Generation

I would like to re-generate some of my plants, after harvest. I have done a little research on that process, but have a question:

What do I do with all that root sitting in the bottom of my tote?

Can I cut away from those roots, leaving about a foot of root remaining with the plant or will that kill my ladies? :leaf: roots.jpg

Thanks for any help

I had a mother plant I was vegging, cloned her out and I was bringing her back to her home. Dropped her, then stepped on the roots when I picked her up. I was glad that happened after I took all the clones, but I chopped the roots down to a foot and put her in the veg again. KABOOM roots shit themselves growing back, it was some amazing shit. That was a 16 inch veg plant though, not a reveg.

You do mean reveg right?

Yeah, after I harvest, re-veg or re-generate. Terms can kill ya. Kinda samething happen to me, I speaded my plants out via additional grow box, by moving them. I could feel the roots tearing away from the pile at the bottom of the tote. Not going to use tote boxes next time. Perhaps those pvc fence post. and this time I should be spot on, so I won't have to pull the roots apart...Thanks for your help

No problem, by the way you are at the end of the life cycle for that plant, I know they can be revegged, but I wouldn't bank my next harvest on those plants.

Right now the gals are mid-way thru the 8th week, they really looking good. I have a little browing on some leaves, perhaps my CFLs were to close. I never thought they would do so good, I am a true beleiver in Aeroponics-Hydroponics. I am in the hunt for another space in the house, I want to have 2 grow area's, 1 for growing, the other for blooming, budding, this way I can clone as well. I enjoy the little work involved checking and adjusting. So I think that is what I will do instead of re-generation. I'll germinate my remaining seeds after this harvest, and just start Grow #2, then clone my way for continiuos growth :joint:

Yeah I think that is a much safer bet, then just throw these in reveg to see if they take. Man I used to hate doing the grow room tasks like PH and PPM checking, but now I made my room much better and I am starting to enjoy it too. Before I would have said you are crazy
