Hydroguard was an excellent product when it was available here but lost its approval. I couldn’t find anything that worked in the higher temps I was running in summer. Finally built a chiller and an underground loop (150’ of copper). All of my res’s were chilled with closed loop cupronickel tube in tube heat exchangers. I kept the water at 72 and never had another root issue. Pumps were mostly all eco 350’s. She’s all outdoors now that we can grow 25......opps I meant to say 4 lol.

Holland industry’s is a bit overpriced on all there stuff and they charge full tilt shipping, be a $125+ bottle.

How do you use that southern ag. Been using skulls 7 but getting low. So like to try that out and see how it does. Looking on directions-just say mix for spraying yards. Don’t say anything about tree ha. Really tho.

Fuck the lower temps= less DO bullshit!!!

Fresh is good but absolutely in no way whatsoever necessary. Use good microbes aka orca/hydroguard or whatever, enzymes minimal nutes 250-350pm. (Some of my bitchz chill in +86 Fahrenheit tent temp )
(They'll love aminos and fulvic humic acids too!)

Res change once a month for peace of mind but not necessary though.

If you add a float valve to automatically top off Res you will see explosive growth.

50% and up humidity and your bitches will think they're in Hawaii.

Ph is strain dependant 8 out 10 stations don't give fuck once roots are well established. But still once a day check and keep start at 5.8. And the next day again so on and so forth.

you end up with noisy waterfalls, a hot chiller and they can be a real pain to get right circulation wise.. lovely once they are running properly tho and makes the transplant from veg tent to flower room easy. I ended up dismantling mine and just recirc drip feed through hydroton these days.

You would still have the larger bulk of your water in your tent getting warmer.. you can run a splitter on your plumbing coming from your pump in your res diverting some flow through a chiller, chillers don’t need high flow to keep a res cool. Or alternatively if you can’t justify the outlay for a chiller straight up you will need to run hydroguard or similar to keep the pythium at bay.

Yeah, my system is stable and has good redundancy at power outage. I don't like handling coir and you still need pumps and timers for automation. You could hand water but it's not feasible in my situation and I like to automate and optimize things. I will probably redesign my Aero system to be DTW in the future.

Awesome! Would you be willing to help me automate my system and create redundancies when I decide to build one?
Also, is it true what they say about aeroponic growth rate being so explosive, and growing the fattest buds?

I don't know about that, it's easier to handle and operate when it's set up. But initial setup cost and time spent will be way higher. I mostly did Aero because I like the technical side of it. I get the same results in coir and there's pros and cons with both methods.
